Mashed potatoes had big chunk not mashed. Waitress had attitude when I asked for replacement. Got replacement and it had black thing in it. Manager said it's the "eye". But the eyes are on outside with skin and aren't black. I won't be going there again. Manager gave a small discount and also had a bad attitude.Update 6/6/22 - received 2 emails from different upper management to follow up so I responded and have yet to hear back.

It is always a pleasure to visit the Cracker Barrel restaurant up here in Spring Hill Florida we decided to come back for Sunday brunch with the family. The Wait was long but worth it. The food was as always Fresh Delicious and served with a friendly smile.
Roast beef dinner was delicious. Big fan of their sweet tea. Not only is the restaurant great, their store is fun to shop in too.
The roast beef was tough, dry, and tasteless. The mashed potatoes were hard and there was not nearly enough gravy. We regularly eat the Cracker Barrel roast beef when traveling, but this store in Spring Hill will not see us again.
Wait line to be seated is ridiculously long, with empty tables all over the dining room. Once seated, we were told the kitchen was backed up, and there would be a little wait......we waited 20 min to be seated! Half the dining room was empty. When the food arrived......warm at best and not up to Cracker Barrel standards at all. Server was great.
Always good food here at cracker barrel Tonight my husband had the meat loaf which he was very happy with of course had side of potatoes and gravy I had chicken and dumplings (they were sold out of the chicken pot pie) I had sides of cole slaw carrots and hashbrown casserole We had a lovely server I can't recall her name at the moment ...sorry about that . We will be back soon
Food was gross. Bad catfish. Had to send it back the first time because they grilled catfish instead of frying. They took my plate and sides, which were on different plates/bowl back to the kitchen and said they would make it all fresh. I got my original sides back, they had microwaved them, the outsides we're cold and center boiling hot. They catfish was rotten, had such a nasty overwhelming fishy taste and odor which is unlike fresh catfish. I couldn't eat any of my lunch. They did decide to not charge me for my food, only my sweet tea which was barely sweetened. None of it was good. Very disappointed, will be another 4 years before I go back again as the last time I was there the food was equally as disappointing 4 years ago.
Visited this Cracker Barrel on 2/6/22 was told a 20 minute wait by hostess. Waited and hour and thirty minutes to be seated at 11:30. Once seated we were advised a 45 minute wait on food. We ended up walking out and not ordering after waiting that long due to our toddler becoming fussy. Would not recommend this location unless you have an abundance of time to spend.
First time I ever been to a Cracker barrel where they ran out of chicken and dumplings, server waited 25 minutes after we put our order in to tell us. Nevertheless I ordered the honey glaze tenders pretty good I must say, but I only really go there for the chicken and dumplings. First time at this location, unlikely to return, only bc there is another cracker barrel about equal the distance as this location, never had a problem there.
