food was terrible. devoid of any flavor whatsoever. simply put, this place would not last in the north east, where we moved from. Will never go back. our waitress chassidy was great though.

Latest visit on Mother's Day. Cody's was slammed. Tracy, our server, was so busy, but made each table feel special. She communicated with us, recommended items and was extremely pleasant. The manager also was a constant presence on the floor. The food was hot and always so good. It was also my dad's 91st birthday. Tracy arranged a great surprise for him and the staff even sang. You could see how busy they all were and you know that they had to be exhausted, but I have to give the entire staff five stars for treating everyone special treating everyone like they were the first customer of the day. You actually felt like you were walking into a friend's home for dinner. We had visitors from out of town and they were so impressed. I really can't say enough good things about this experience. We will definitely be back. Thank you Cody's in Spring Hill for a wonderful day.
Cody’s was always a favorite pastime for my family and I. But since Covid hit this place has never been the same. Service by hostesses and waitresses have been great for the most part. But there’s been some obvious carelessness with preparing meals. LastTime my family and i went we were given coldMashed potatoes. And my prime rib was also cold. I don’t like to complain so I ate it. Before that. I can guarantee our salsa came from dollar general.Just want to make people aware since this used to be our favorite place to go
Service was terrible, ordered 4 chicken fajita diners , manager brought our food out, tortillas came out hard and cold, cheese , tomato ,lettuce tray had hardly anything on it , ask for more cheese he said that was extra , I asked for salsa, his reply was it cost extra , .79 cents each for a very small cup . That’s ridiculous, never been to a place that charged extra for salsa . Needed more drinks ,Waitress didn’t come back till I flagged her down. Complained to her that we haven’t seen you since you took our order, her response was , well the manager brought your food out to us. So what you took our order , just walked away, They weren’t busy at all , kinda rude and didn’t care , the table next to us weren’t happy ether. Avoid this place . We wont go back
Good food, good prices, and healthy portions. Our waiter was very nice and helpful when we had questions about the menu. We will definitely be back.
The place reminds me of another restaurant that did what Cody's tries to do but did it better. The steak was cooked to the correct temp but tasted of the grill more than anything else, and the prime rib was tough...I mean difficult to chew tough. Also, most of our meal was cold when it came out. No reason for that really as we both like our meat the same temp. On the bright side, the chicken wings we had as an app were excellent and our server was super nice.
The food definitely wasn't something to be desired, I ordered the blackened fish and they ended up bringing me what looked like a minnow for $16.00 the stuffed potato appetizers were room temperature and the cheese was disgusting. The only thing decent was the salad and I mean it was only decent, we definitely will not be going back after spending $73.00 for two people and the waitress only checked on our table three times. I had to go to the bar and ask for more sweet tea, so I would say just stay home and cook for yourself if you want anything decent..... Not happening again Cody's ?
