This restaurant is filthy carpet, booths, bathrooms I could only imagine the kitchen. Drinks taste differently each time and they were not good. Now the food: Spinach dip was good but the small 8oz. Dish only had 2oz. of dip in it!! Wonton tacos were cold like they just came out of the refrigerator. The riblets, even the manager agreed were a terrible choice, because they are nothing but fat & mush, disgusting!! Our waitress was terrible at her job. When we complained about the food her response was, "well I didn't cook it"!! So needless to say we won't be returning to Applebee's on county line road in Spring Hill ever again!
Service was terrible! Once bar tender took our order she never returned but hung out at the bar chatting with two male customers. We had to ask another server to check on our order. They forgot the order in the kitchen. Three tables that came in ate and left before we received our food. The fried chicken bites on the salad was cold, French onion soup was Luke warm. Pretzel sticks or bread sticks were never received as promised. We asked for manager who did come to the table. He made every excuse possible. He did not charge us for the bad experience.
Usually I don’t have much of anything positive to say about applebees in general, but today was a great experience. We had Chloe as a server and she was attentive, sweet, and seemed like she knew how to do her job well. Anything we asked for was brought out immediately. The host was also very nice while seating us and as we were leaving.
Came in last night with my family for my birthday and was very disappointed...My dad and sister both got a burger that were cooked incorrectly. My boyfriend got a chicken skillet and the mashed potatoes were cold plus when he was ordering the waitress took his menu before he could finish ordering then walked away. And I think my experience was the worst, I came in with a service dog and the waitress kept distracting and talking to him. And my food came out wrong... I think? I ordered a four cheese mac and cheese with the honey pepper tenders on top and got bone dry fettuccine noodles with the tenders.. I told the waitress about it and she brought me Alfredo sauce??? I was too scared to say anything so I just ate the tenders but the pasta was awful so I just took a few bites and left still hungry... unfortunately near our table there was alot going on and threw me in a slight panic attack so my service dog was tasking and the waitress came right up to my dog, started talking to him... and caused him to loose his focus and stop tasking which was really annoying, he is marked on his vest to not approach in training.... the experience with awful... we also got a few alcoholic beverages and they tasted like there was almost now alcohol in them... which I don't mind but is was money wasted
I believe our server name was cameron. He was amazing. The food was good but her customer service was out of this world. We had a table of 8 and he made sure everything was okay with us from drinks to appetizers to our main course until we left out the door. I'm giving this five stars not for the food but for the customer service given to us by our server Cameron.
Mom and I had a great lunch todaySo yummyA little under staffed but the food was delicious
I wish there were an option to give it negative stars. I sat down on the patio, multiple waitresses passing by. I was there a good 20 to 25 minutes (no menu, not a glass of water, heck not even so much as a hello) before I finally was able to stop one and ask should I have checked in or something. They told me yes. So I went inside and told the house that I was on the patio and he proceeded to follow me out to see where I was sitting. At least another 15 minutes went by and I still had yet to be acknowledged. I left and will never go back.
Food was hot, presented nice and service was speedy. Cameron with a positive attitude was great, drinks were refilled promptly, he even returned a couple times to make sure everything was great. (Nothing like a negative attitude wait staff). Condiments and extra napkins were remembered and brought out with the food. Having a small child, it was nice to have empty glasses and plates taken from the table. (Some places leave all that on the table until you leave.)
Food is great, when they have a kitchen staff who knows the menu. I've had a few instances where I've ordered something I've had before and it's served with missing ingredients, smaller portions and different layouts, like they have no idea what they're doing... When the food is right, it's amazing.
I always go with someone to split the 2 for $25 steak. Prices keep going up. Last time it was 2 for $28. But they always have a good steak and occasionally a great steak. And we always get their salad as an appetizer. And with 2 sides, one of which is always the garlic mashed, it's a good deal.
