Been there 3 times and all three have had delicious food. Had the wings of all things the other day and woah! I ran through them like a Mack truck. No business having this great of wings at an Irish place!
Ordered nachos...topping were very skimpy and waitress kept asking if we were ok with what the menu stated after we started eating it...we said no...total miss on nachos were very minimal on toppings..wife ordered whiskey chicken and I tried it but very bland..I ordered fish and chips with extra tartar sauce (second tater sauce) was charged for second tartar sauce which I thought was lame. Fish was cut like fish sticks and not filet... Ordered bread pudding which was ok but over all impression was save your money and go else were...didnt take photos as we don't typically do that...waitress was good thought and tipped her well. Wife said best part of the meal was the speciality drink which was excellent...owner responded below and I would have expected a different response than come on back and try again...we will not be back...our hard earned money is better spent elsewhere
Not an Irish pub at all. The doors were propped open and a fly was buzzing around while I was eating that was so annoying. The staff was nice the food was ok for lunch but it was basic and overpriced. If it was just a bar named anything else my expectations would have been different but it's supposed to be an Irish bar. Nothing was Irish . The music was soft rock not irish. I would not go back
Great food and great atmosphere. Pet friendly with a menu just for them. If you haven't been to one go you will not be disappointed.
Excellent staff. Reasonable prices. Great selection of beers, wines and specialty cocktails. We stopped in for beers and chips w gravy while we chatted then ordered shepherd's pie boxies to go. (They were fantastic!) One in our party had the black and blue burger and said it was the best. Outdoor seating is dog-friendly.
Nice little pub, we found by hearing great music from it and walked over after some shopping. But the staff here is pretty terrible like everyone else's mentions. We got a bottle of wine from a waitress after several other attempts to get from the bar. It was a terrible wine. When the waitress finally made her way back to us a while later we casually mentioned this to her. More so to tell her not to recommend it to anyone. We weren't complaining to get something more, truly just making conversation. Then we are approached by presumably the manager who was just plain rude. She offered us another bottle and said we needed to make sure it was one we liked. She brings out samples and continues to have a bad attitude. She even took the rest of the samples back with her although we were good with that selection. She makes a comment about how we wasted $35 bottle of wine... It probably was a $7 blend from ABC next door. We were floored by her demeanor overall. We understand they are busy and short staffed but being locals in the area really would have liked to be treated a little better. Probably will not be somewhere we frequent because of the staff.
We live in the neighborhood.. we love this place and come here often. However, tonight the bartender Amanda was so rude. I realize it was very busy, but a friendly smile and kind words go along way. I've been a bartender and being condescending gets you no where. but Faith our server turned the experience around. She was awesome! Of course we will be back. Just hope Amanda's in a happier space!
My wife and I came in to grab a bite to eat. We were given a table and waited for 36 minutes, but not a single waitress came to wait on us. I decided to go to the bar and grab us some drinks; I figure maybe someone would eventually come by. Another 30 minutes went by and even though there were other tables being served, no one even bothered to ask if we were being helped. I finally closed my tab at the bar and I asked for a manager share my experience. I’m not coming to this place again.
We went early, we thought at 4 pm on St. Patrick's Day for corned beef and cabbage. We did find seats at the bar after a short wait. The wait for a table was 35 minutes. We stayed at the bar. Had a couple of drinks before we ordered. When we ordered at about 6, they were out of corned beef and cabbage to our dismay. We settled for Reubens and homemade chips.. i had the specialty drink Tito's shamrock shimmer. All drinks were served in plastic, except for bottled beer. They did have good live music, a very festive atmosphere. There was a steady crowd coming in. May go back on a non holiday sometime.
Ruben was barely cooked, the bread was not grilled or toasted at all. Side of gravy for $2 comes in Ramekin. Ordered extra dressing and did not receive it. I had ordered gravy for the dry Shephards pie a week before and got a side for $2. I used Uber Eats so I was stuck with the dry Shepherds pie.
