Was looking forward to several margaritas on the lake on a Friday afternoon. Atmosphere mexican fun.. too hot to dine outside..but had a good view. Service was adequate, though took a while to get the chips. (we had to ask where they were)..but worst of all their "margaritas" were detestable..like water , or something? For the first time ever, we sent them back...had a beer(dos' equis) instead, and we even questioned to ourselves if it was indeed what we had ordered, since it came in a warm glass, very light looking and not very strong for a beer....food was less than average.. both the beans and rice tasted straight from a can, and my chimichanga was soggy with no flavor.. I will agree there was a decent amount of chicken enveloped in it...so much for a fun afternoon! Won't go back.

Very disappointing, service was terrible! Food was sub-par. We constantly had to flag down the bartender to get service. Whether we were ordering drinks, appetizers, dinner or dessert. She paid zero attention to us! Not to mention we were the only ones at the bar. I ordered the chili relleno and let's just say the beans had more flavor!

5/4 back for dinner with my friend.I had Shrimp Don Jose, really good! Love the mushrooms and good flavors.6 nice sized shrimp.(pic)5/1 sat at the bar, chicken tamales and a house Marg. Perfect 8:50pm meal ;)3/8/22 another great meal, I had the chicken tamales- very good.I've dined here several times over the years, while visiting my parents.Always good food and good service!

This is always been my favorite place to eat the staff is wonderful friendly very clean restaurant I had a late lunch there yesterday I have the chicken fajita my favorite chicken was very dry and hard I only had enough sour cream and pico de gallo for one rap when I ask for more they gave me more but when I received my bill I noticed I got charged for the extra so the visit yesterday was very disappointing just wanted to let management know if it wasn't for the chicken being overcooked and hard and I got charged for the extras because I didn't get enough I'd still have you at a five-star

This is one of the best Mexican food Restaurants we have ever eaten in. The Salsa is homemade and excellent. Drinks were two for one and the Margarita was so good. Not to strong , just right. The food was all excellent. It is on the lake with a beautiful view. Fito was our Server and he was excellent. Don't miss going to eat at this Restaurant.

I had the 3 enchilada meal. 2 chicken and 1 beef. They were delicious. The rice was well seasoned and had an excellent flavor. My wife had a quesadilla and it was good. The ambiance in the patio is fabulous with the waves and eating by the water.

This is a lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the lake and a wonderful setting for a cousin's Gathering. The food was excellent as well as the ambience. Every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service however was extremely slow in the beginning and no one came by to see if we needed drinks Etc. However, this improved throughout the meal.

Loved it ! Visitor from Ft. Lauderdale . Food and service exceptional and will definitely be bake. Unbelievable view .

We love spicy and the salsa was spicy. My husband ordered blackened chicken fajitas and they were spicy too. the restaurant is beautiful and so is the view.

Having been attending the races at Sebring International Airport for better than 50 years, I know a little bit about the town nearby. We found Don Jose's some years back and were hooked from the first trip. My server this year is the same as we had in 2020. Her name is Milena. She is a college student, working full time at Don Jose's. From what I have witnessed, Melina will excel at anything she puts her mind to. She is one of the best servers I have ever encountered and I spent many years in the business myself and eaten out more than I care to admit. Ask for Melina, even if you have to wait - it'll be well worth it. Try their ceviche - it is maybe the best I have ever had, and that includes in Mexico.
