The Family and I decided to try this restaurant because we had been to the one on Tampa "Dale Mabry".Since we loved it there , the decor , the food ,CLEANESSBehold to my surprise it was the COMPLETE opposite, Dirty, old, dark.My question the people that go to eat there , how can you not see this.Well the story is we walked out.NEVER AGAIN

Have been coming to Yummy House for 4 years while daughter at Ringling - the BEST Chinese food ever. Love the Sesame Chicken, Black Pepper Steak and Barbequed pork fried rice and the hot tea is delicious as well. Staff is always helpful and happy. Take out just as good as eating in. Will really really really miss this restaurant! Come to Tallahassee!
I come here a lot. Like at least once a week if not more. I would say this is the best Chinese food in sarasota, by far. Very authentic (given u don’t order American Chinese food from the menu) but it is very close to what I eat at home. I would highly recommend anyone to this place. They also have a tampa location which is bigger and more selections as well.
We came here on a Sunday with a big group for lunch to celebrate birthdays. We had 23 in the group and had a 35 minutes wait. They were willing to put us all at separate tables to accommodate our big party. Service was fast. Food tasted delicious. But we did not realize that plates were sharable portions, so we took a lot home. I highly recommend the calamari and all the fried rice. Put that leftover topping from the calamari onto of the rice, yum!
Great Chinese food. A mix of authentic Chinese with the American Chinese foods. Well worth it. Service was great. The place is very busy but got in under 20 minutes.
The food was typical Chinese, low quality ingredients. What a surprise as we have eaten there many times but the freshness and quality is gone. Again, cheap Chinese at a high price. Too bad will not go back.
Yummy House is home to delicious, authentic Chinese food with lots of different dimsum and entrees to choose from. After my first time, will go back there again in less than a month!
My server Jose is the best! He is taking care of me a couple of times now and his suggestions have always been spot-on. I've never did been disappointed with the atmosphere, service or quality of the cuisine. I love to go have dim sum with my girlfriends in the afternoon at this place more than any other lunch outing I've experienced thus far during my time in Sarasota. It is very affordable, and always top notch in all departments! I will be returning again soon I'm sure!
I have rated these guys previously, and things just keep getting better. The sweet and sour chicken is one of my faves, with lots of sweet pineapple chunks and red and green bell pepper. The salt and pepper calamari is wonderful. The dim sum, on weekday lunch only, is fantastic. The only draw back of the place is the exterior and location, but the food is so good they get a pass
I was expecting much more. Most of the food had no taste at all. The sesame chicken was cooked into oblivion and it had no sauce, very dry. The rice was decent. The dumplings however were large and tasty. Overall, not even on average in my book for Chinese food.
