My sister recommended we dine here. Was very excited to see chicken livers and okra on the menu. Delicious. Fried perfectly. Surprised to see our orders were such large portions except the chicken fried chicken seen in the photo. It was plenty but I recommend portion size should be similar across the board. Sadly My husband's Fried chicken was under seasoned. A warm stack of complimentary Amish bread slices were brought to our table to share before the meals arrived. Fresh Apple butter is on the table and both were excellent. The most disappointing was the service. We were prepared to wait as most places are short staffed, however once the food was delivered nice and hot, the waitress Never once came back to our table to check on anything, to order dessert, refills on drinks, to go boxes and our check. My husband who has the most patience in the world was the most frustrated. We finally had to flag down the passing hostess who was very sweet to help us. Our first experience here started out great and quickly Became a disappointment. Many positives but dropping your customers like a hot potato is bad for business. We truly felt unwanted. Hopefully this won't happen to anyone else.

Tried Yoders for the first time. Chicken was delicious as was the mashed potatoes, corn and green beans. Homemade bread was delicious. Quaint atmosphere, Excellent Service. Let’s get to the pie! HOLY COW! It’s Absolutely Fantastic. We had the Blueberry Pie which had a sugar crust top. Served warm with Vanilla Ice cream. And we also had a piece of Banana Cream Pie! The Blueberry was delicious and the Banana Cream was the best I have Ever had Anywhere! We will definitely be back!

My hubby and I had breakfast at Yoders on the advice of a friend. We were amazed at the size and quality of the breakfast skillets. We shared one and couldn’t finish it between the two of us. It was delicious. The service was great too! Highly recommended!!!

This is an Amish restaurant. It serves comfort food. The price is fair and the portions are large. There is plenty of additional parking at the back of the restaurant. The restaurant has a gift shop and a market next to it.I ordered the famous fried chicken. The chicken was very lightly breaded and seasoned. It was not crispy as advertised. It was okay. It came with 2 sides. I got the fried okra which I liked and the Amish potato cakes. That was new for me. It was unlike anything I had before. The pies looked really good and big. They had beautiful colors. I was too full to try them but. I will next time. The service was good and a must try restaurant.

Yoder’s has some quality home-cooking in the heart of Sarasota in a small Amish Village. The service is friendly and attentive as expected. The portions are large and plentiful. Loved the gravy, but the meat was either very bland, or super salty. Still tender though. I’d recommend Yoder’s as a great alternative to the usual Italian/Mediterranean/Mexican/Seafood places that dominate the area.

This has always been one of my favorite Amish restaurants in town, so when I’m in the area it’s always a must to stop by here. One of my favorites on their menu is their chocolate cake and that’s what we stopped by to get. The regular menu is of course, great home style cooking and options. The added store near here is a must to stop into, lots of cute items and something for everyone!

I was told about this place by some friends. Glad I stopped by. I had the Monday special of beef and noodles(small portion). It was flavorful with tender chunks of pot roast beef. The Mac and cheese was also excellent along with the homemade bread. I did have a piece of chocolate cream pie to go. That was a disappointment though.

Somewhat disappointed. Yoders is always a must stop on our trips to SRQ. The breakfast potatoes had no flavor and were mushy. The eggs and bacon were great. Service was good. The best thing about the visit was the coffee. Amazing coffee.

The line was out of the door for this hidden gem, and once you are in, you will understand why. The food was as close to home cooking as you can get. Everything that came out of the kitchen made you want to order more.Let's not talk about the pie, we had the banana pie, and words can't describe how delightful this slice of heaven was. This is definitely on the top 10 best places to eat is Sarasota, Fl.

Yoder's is always such a treat. It's been kind of a family tradition for the past 10 years to come here whenever we are in Sarasota, and this time I brought my boyfriend to try their famous cream pies! We got banana, coconut, chocolate, and Dutch apple pie. Everything was fantastic as always, and the girls working are extremely friendly. We went into their market as well and got some fresh strawberries, apricots, blueberries, and fresh butter. Absolutely love this placeabsolutely love this place
