My friend and I enjoyed a great lunch at the Waffle Stop-The food is very good and reasonable-Dolly the owner is friendly- We will ge going back!

I think the locals would like to keep this place a secret. Little to no wait, good service and food was really good. We visited twice on our vacation.
This place is an old Sarasota staple. You will be greeted by a lady who seems mean . She doesn't bite , that's just the way she is. The food there is awesome.
Excellent location for old-time diner experience. Fantastic breakfast food, cooked to order, and nice portions and price. For what it is, it's an excellent choice. Bonus is that Elvis Presley actually ate here twice in 1956 while performing at the Opera House (Florida theater as it was known then).
Come here for the food and the community feel. Don't complain about the service. This is a family diner with amazing food. If you're in a rush, go somewhere else. I'll take the table instead :)
If you like Elvis, you'll like this kitchy breakfast restaurant that's stuck in the 50's. Not much has changed here for many years, but in all fairness the food is good and plentiful, the prices are reaonable, and you can joke with the waitresses many of which have been there 25 + years.
The Burnin Love omelette is great if you want a spicy start to the day!
A pleasant time warp. Yes, the place loves Elvis (and he did eat here) and there is a very loyal clientele on an early Sunday morning. Dolly is clearly the boss! Perfect eggs, hash browns, and corned beef hash. Really liked how nothing on my plate was greasy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we were taken back to 1956!
