We had the Margherita pizza which was phenomenal!!!! The cheese was to die for and it taste so simple and so wholesome. The lasagna was so good and the ground beef in it was so juicy. The linguine de mare was average - could use more ingredients as simple as garlic and salt. The penne pasta was good too. The calamari is average, the portion is too tiny for the price. Our server is good and the price is slightly high but we don’t mind because the food was good overall, authentic and their ingredients tasted fresh and of good quality.
When it comes to homemade Italian cuisine, make sure to drop by Venezia Italian Restaurant. During our stay, we were able to enjoy a sumptuous lunch and truly enjoyed the pizza. Located in St. Armand’s Circle.
Service was extremely rushed. It felt like they wanted you to eat and leave as quickly as possible to make room for others. The food came out so quickly, we knew it had been pre-prepared. Pizza was underwhelming and chicken parmesan was not flavorful or even tasty. Below average and would not return.
This restaurant deserves a 5 star for the amazing food and drinks! They have been open since 1947! The sangria absolutely perfect!! And I ordered the angel hair with vodka sauce it was delicious! The portions are huge and great prices! I highly recommend and will definitely be back!
We love Italian food and were not disappointed with our choice. Started off with two Margeritas which were the best of our trip then we shared an Antipasto, Caesar Salad and a Pizza Diavolo. Food was excellent with a couple of glasses of red wine our bill came to $100 with a minimum tip of $21. We chose to eat here the following night but Friday was even busier so we ate inside as the wait for outside was over 30 minutes. This time we chose Chicken Parmigiana with Marinara sauce and Veal Marsala with a Mushroom sauce. The food again was really excellent, with a couple of cocktails and 2 glasses of red wine the bill was once again $100 plus service. Great food, great atmosphere.
Tip: Kids Menu: Tenders with fries, Macaroni & Cheese or any pasta in a smaller portion.The food and service here is amazing! We had several entrees, pizza and kids meals for the kiddos in our group. Everything was flavorful, fresh & delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.
The pizza was very good. There was a mistake with our order, but the servers handled fantastically. The atmosphere is lively and fun for a casual meal.
Have brought my three grandsons here more than once after a visit to the Mote. It's the best pizza around.
Is amazing , it never gets old , great for family , couples , solos , great service , and food always on point ! If your in St Armand circle, is a definitively a must go !!!
We had a party of 11 and maybe it was a bit overwhelming.... Quick to take your drink order but like most upscale Italian restaurants, we were expecting some fine Italian bread with a dip or just butter as we all decided on the very large selection of entrees. Nope - No bread...just water and drinks. Some 20 minutes had past... We ordered our meals and had to ask for bread. Disappointing. It does have some TVs for the sports enthusiast. Overall, it is noisy.
