We were in the area visiting and wanted to try out some thai food. Ordered the cashew nut with tofu on white rice, the chicken green curry on white rice, and coconut shrimp soup. The soup. Was excellent. The green curry was actually sweet and not spicy. Moreover the green peas and carrots tasted as if they were frozen before cooking them. The cashew nut was decent, just needed more spice.
My wife and I needed to find a nice Thai restaurant in downtown Sarasota, as we were planning to take a walk along Lido Beach after dinner to watch the sunset. We stopped into the Tropical Thai Restaurant and were treated to friendly service and great Thai food! We both had a cup of Wonton soup to start things off, followed by entrees that were very tasty and sized just right!
Met the owner, she and her husband have been here for so long and are so so hospitable. The food was seasoned so well, noodles nice and soft, very reasonable pricing for such delicious food. This is becoming a regular spot for me
Wonderful food and good people. We will be back
Awesome place, the food was really great and the staff were attentive and kind. My only complaint is that it's extremely quiet inside. So much so, that it feels uncomfortable to talk to the people at your table. Definitely recommend doing take out instead.
Yum! We got the yellow curry, coconut noodle and wonton soup. I would order it all again. The lady who helped me was so nice too. Always a plus :)
I was visiting my friends in Sarasota and they took me here for lunch so I could get some Asian flavors. Small restaurant. The atmosphere is somewhat cozy. We ordered a few dishes like soft shell crabs, duck salad was excellent, the meat was not dry and the crunchiness of the skin made it good. We all so got seafood pad Thai and was very flavorful. And some shushi. Definitely recommending to come try and see for your self. They close?afound 3-4

Really delicious Thai food served by an older family. We had a mix of mixed Seafood Drunken Noodles, Thai Coconut Soup (Tom Kha), and Phanaeng Curry. Reasonable prices and good sized portions. The woman operating the restaurant is kind, yet funny. Recommended for those looking to venture downtown.
Amazing sushi. Can't wait to go back and try what else they have
