I hate writing negative reviews. But given my last two visits to this location I felt the need to share. Last time they literally forgot my order. After paying for my food and waiting a significant amount of time I finally asked for an update on my order and they said it got lost. For today's visit, which will be the last time I ever go to this location, I have attached a photo of what they apparently define as a $4 chicken taco. I also submitted my order online to try and save time but that doesn't do any good. I thought submitting my order online would save some time but I counted 5 people to walk in, order in the restaurant and receive their food before mine was brought out. This location of Tijuana Flats absolutely sucks.
Ordered dinner on line. Ready time posted was within 25 mins from the time the order was placed. Arrived at the establishment in 25 mins and proceeded to wait an additional 20 mins for the food to be ready. The order was then missing a drink, salad dressing and salsa. The casual attitude of the staff and the repeated,"They're working on the order."did not help matters. If you expect efficient and accurate service while ordering from their app, don't. PS. Don't bring your dog along in this weather. The wait was not safe in this heat due to the extended wait.
Probably the best chicken burrito I've had. I ordered mine without rice and either Black beans. Then I mixed the sweetest sauce the offer with the extreme hottest sauce and, wow! Fantastic!
Great food and friendly greetings. Family atmosphere. Small dining room but get takeout. I really enjoyed the shrimp bowl and fish tacos!
Nice Restaurant have done a lot of renovations since I was there about 10 years ago but the customer service was not what I remembered nobody here cares about your order I found Beef And Chicken inside my Vegan Taco and The Outside Patio was so loud couldn't even hear the music just cars and Police Sirens and the Tables were so close together However they do give free refills! Probably The only Reason I will Give this resturant a 2nd chance.
Disappointing. I love Tijuana Flats. It's one of my favorites. This was our first visit to the Clark Rd location. I ordered 2 tacos When they arrived we could see that they were lacking in pretty much everything, almost no lettuce, no onions. I took a couple of bites. The chicken was cold and obviously had been sitting around quite a while. So I asked the server to take it back and have the kitchen remake it. The server returned with only one taco and told me the cook said "she ate the other one". Chips were stale too, but mostly i was insulted that he accused me of trying to get free food. Bad experience. We won't be back
Ordered online. Nobody acknowledged me as I waited at the pick up counter. Finally got my food 25 minutes after the pick-up time. Unfortunately I didn't check my order, and when I got home items were missing and the food was cold.
Arrived 10 minutes before posted closing time... yup, you guessed it... chairs on the tables, staff mopping floors, lights out. A shame, I ate there once before and I was looking forward to it. Had to get a pizza near by. ?
Love this place. Great eats! Great atmosphere! Great food! Great people! A must for locals!
