I was a bit surprised entering in. The atmosphere seemed kind of stark. Was expecting something like a British pub feel. But I guess not every Public House has to be English or Irish themed. I was skeptical. But the service was very good and pleasant...and the food was perfect! The presentation alone of the plates impressed me. I had the black and bleu burger which was delicious. I rarely eat french fries but decided to treat myself and I am so glad I did. The best fries I probably have ever had. I'll come back for those alone!
The is a new restaurant and it is great!. it has an exciting menu with a lot of options and the craft beers are amazing. The service is wonderful and the patio is very quiet, I have eaten there a few times and have done their take out and I have not been let done once.
I was excited to find this gem. I have a gluten intolerance and this place can make almost anything on their menu gluten free. I had fish and chips for the first time in years, and it was extremely tasty and crispy.I highly recommend the cheese curds. Light and crispy with a touch of saltiness. With ranch to dip in I couldn't stop eating them. If you have a gluten insensitivity, this is a must try!!! 4/14/22 Update- I tried the fried green tomatoes, they are to die for with the house made smokey ranch dressing. I had the cheese curds again, it was just as good as the first time. I was able to get a photo before devouring them. We loved this place so much that we signed up for their customer loyalty program. Every $100 spent you get a free appetizer.
I enjoy this place. Chef makes all kinds of cool stuff. Make sure you ask for specials and items NOT on the menu. They have a duck Reuben. Incredible.
Sorry we went here. I had a Caesar salad with chicken. Even though the chicken was freshly cooked and excellent (and way too much for 1 person), the salad came up short. The lettuce was mostly stalk, not leaf; the dressing was minimal, and the Parmesan was all dumped in one spot. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich. The sauce was good (not too sweet nor too spicy), but there wasn't a lot of it, so the meat ended up seeming too dry. The fries were quite good.
Great little breakfast find...we were trying to get in the restaurant next door, but we were too hungry to wait over an hour for their table. When we saw their open door and sidewalk sign, we decided to give this place a try. So glad we did! Server was pleasant and efficient, food excellent, portions huge, and menu interesting--for example Monte Cristo sandwiches, chicken and waffles, avocado toast. Our only disappointment was my father in law couldn't get decaf coffee, so be aware if you have that dietary requirement.
Place was not busy, yet our waitress took forever and not very attentive. She stood around gossiping and complaining about the patrons. The food was horrible. I ordered a taco salad. The meat was not seasoned, the lettuce was wet, and there was not and salsa or dressing for it. Thankfully we ordered chips and cheese and I used the salsa from that as a dressing.When asked about seasoning for the meat, our server replied " we don't season our food due to food allergies "..... which I found odd since the coleslaw I ordered had seasoning. Save your time and money, do not dine here.
Best burgers EVER! Loved the turkey burger as well as the black and blue. House made chips were incredible. Our server, Carly was awesome! Highly recommend and we will be back very soon.
We went here to have lunch and a drink. Service was extremely slow, I get it covid and all that. But we were told about the bottomless bloody Mary deal, which we thought was a good deal at $12.99 except it took them so long to bring them that we only ended up having one. Also the price she told us ended up changing by the time she brought us the check, she'd told us it was $12.99 and it ended up being $20 each which we thought was a big difference and would we have known we'd ordered something else. So needless to say we'd felt we'd gotten screwed ?Anyway, we are probably not going back there, but if you go, make sure you get those details early ?
