We went to the Lounge with a friend of ours who is visiting with us and had arranged to meet up with a friend from her college days who now lives in Sarasota. We had a great time meeting and talking with him. The problem was that our server was new and service was slow even though it was not busy. When the drinks did arrive, they were quite weak - no real buzz for the 3 of us ordering simple cocktails, his wine was fine. Worse yet, we ordered some appetizers - he truffle fries and the two ladies, shrimp cocktails. His fries arrived but he shrimp cocktails never did - the server had put the order in the computer but had not sent it to the kitchen. As we were now stuck waiting, I decided to try the beef tacos. When the shrimp cocktail finally arrived - it was only one order. My tacos arrived shortly after (they were ok but had to use knife and fork to eat them). The ladies shared the one order of shrimp cocktail. My wife and I had been considering moving into the main dining area at the Element with them but were too put off. We asked for our portion of the bill - it came to about $90 for the weak well (not call drinks) 2 vodka sodas w cranberry juice, two bourbons and coke (avg $14 per) - the shrimp cocktail ($19) and tacos ($15). If the drinks were good and the food and service were even just acceptable, the cost might have been tolerable. We did not stiff on the tip - left 20%. No apology from the owner or manager, not comping for the mistakes and bad service. Not what patrons should have to deal with in a purportedly trendy establishment.
WOW!!!! Second time there and was great again! The service was fantastic and so were the cocktails! The bartender recognized us from over a month ago which made it even better. I would highly recommend stopping in for amazing cocktails....the limoncello ice cubes are to die for!
Amazing food, awesome service. Alex was our server and everything was delightful.
Great place to stop in on the weekend. Fantastic craft cocktails plenty to choose from on their menu. Good late-night menu and you can order food from the main menu. Knowledgeable and friendly staff alao live DJ most nights.
Nice and cozy.

Imagine spending over $100 already, then you get charged $60 for a UNANNOUNCED “birthday cake fee” because one of my family members decided to bring one and surprise me? That’s actually insane. Then the fact y’all don’t disclose it, just hand over the check and expect it to be all good right? Luckily it’s not about the money.. it’s the principle. Also really $60?? $20 is a bit more reasonable.. I mean.. none of its rational but if you’re gonna charge one, at least let it not be crazy. There’s HUNDREDS of places I could’ve chose to celebrate, but I mistakenly chose you guys. Don’t worry, you’ll hear from me again.
