Good food and the best waitress we have had in years.
Awesome dinner, we have been to the one in Adrian, Michigan a bunch of times so when we learned about one in Sarasota we had to try it. We have taco plates, chips and cheese and yummy salsa. Our waitress had a adorable helper with her, everything was awesome, the service was excellent. For the Michigan people going to dine here the cheese for the chips and cheese is a little different but still really good.
My husband and I visited the restaurant for a carry out order as we have not been there since Covid. I tried the enchiladas that were very tasty and my husband had the chimichanga. My husband thought his chimichanga was a little bland and he was upset that they are now half the size that they used to be pre-Covid. The queso and salsa were very good but the chips had no flavor and the next day they just tasted bad. I know a lot of restaurants are going through turmoil and I hope this one can make it back to where they were before Covid hit. On a positive note, the bartender was very kind and hospitable.
It was a nice place for lunch. Their lunch menu is cheaper than the other items, about $3-$5 an item. While some food items run small, like enchiladas and burritos, it's best to order two of them. Everything was tasty and service was excellent
We we’re hungry for lunch after shopping, what a great find!! We both had the chicken salad bowl. It was served in a tasty flour fluted tortilla. Lettuce, diced tomatoes and warm shredded chicken. Also comes with sour cream and guacamole. Our bowls was delicious and hit the hunger spot! We both chose their hot salsa mixed onto our salads.
First time at this restaurant. Portions are small, but tasty. Service was good. Price is responsible. No chips and salsa served.
We sat in a very comfortable booth in the bar area. Our server, Jesse was everything you want in a server- friendly, paid the right amount of attention to us, was inconspicuously always available, and the order was correct! In other words he did his job.The chips were served hot! Our individual salsa bowls were refilled frequently.Guacamole fresh ✅. Tacos tasted as if grandma just made the shell. Excellent! Rice wasn’t your typical Mexican restaurant, it was much better. Beer was good too.
Really enjoyed the food and drinks and prices were reasonable. Fun and casual atmosphere. No photos because everything looked like ones on the website. Good comfort Tex Mex and will be going again. There is a second parking lot at the rear, but may be challenging when place is busy.
The best Mexican food in FL so far. I am from the owners home town Adrian, Michigan. The food here is as gas El Chaps there. Must be the family recipe secret. Also had a wonderful waitress
delishish food and great service!
