I brought my mom for a Mother’s Day luncheon. It was absolutely beautiful. It is elegant and charming and the food was prepared wonderfully as well. They do their best to make every reservation special. It was an absolute please today.
My husband, daughter and myself had lunch today at Shoogie Boogies. I can’t say enough good things. It is one of a kind. Everything is the absolute best. It’s not exactly easy to find because you won’t see a huge neon sign. You will simply see the number on the little house. How charming is that? As you take the walkway in, you realize this is looking rather special. The owner, Kathryn is a wonderful caring person who has the ability to make everything the best, - ambiance, food, and her warmth to all who come for the experience. The food is superb. Best mushroom soup I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was like that. No bad items. There are few times in life, when you feel you’ve somehow come a tiny bit closer to heaven on earth because you’re transported to a lovely respite from cares. That’s how I felt today. Hard to explain. Almost impossible to find. This is it.
I attended a very special Wedding and Reception at this exceptional and captivating location in the heart of Sarasota, Florida. What a neat surprise! Kathryn and her staff gave everyone extraordinary service and attention. The surroundings were truly enchanting and the music exquisite. We had the most amazing experience hosting a baby shower here. The venue is so perfect it made it SO easy for me to plan especially in a busy holiday weekend. Our experience was wonderful and Kathryn is just the best! Always a pleasure visiting Shoogie Boogies!
VERY SPECIAL IN EVERY WAY - Atmosphere, decor, music, food and service.My wife and I enjoyed a special occasion lunch Friday, March 25, 2022. An excellent amount of interesting drink choices started us off. Tea sandwiches, soup, salad, crepes and a dessert pedestal were all top notch. Interesting and fun speaking to Katheryn regarding her vision for The Garden Cafe. Hats off to everyone involved for a job very well done.
Simply the best place in Sarasota to hold an event. We had our wedding reception here and the setting is spectacular, the service impeccable, and the food and wine are top notch. Our guests are still raving about the evening.

I recently took my dear friend here for a birthday lunch and we had the most beautiful time. This is my go-to place to take someone to for a truly special time. The owner and host, Kathyrn, is so very charming and lovely. She makes you feel so very special, like you are the only ones there. The food is very good and presented beautifully. The whole ambience makes you feel like you are in some gorgeous European cafe. Her decor with fresh beautiful flowers and little white lights, etc. is enchanting. Highly suggest you take a special friend here for some quality time together where peace abounds and time stops still.
