Must stop by this place if you’re in the area. Especially on Friday nights. Classic cocktails, the best martinis, wonderful atmosphere.

Henry was absolutely amazing ! Drinks were delicious and service was as even better. Definitely a MUST when in Siesta Key.
Had a great time on the patio! Food was good, too! We will be back! Lots of people had fun dancing, too. We really enjoyed that, too as not enough places to dance anymore!
Forget the menu. Maybe you can get pizza. It's OK, a 5 or 6 out of 10. Everything else may not be available. The bartender creating the custom drinks is excellent, however. Fridays from 6 - 10 is usually The Whole Band, versatile with skilled musicians, but they play what they like, and often not what people would like to hear. The management is questionable, can't keep staff, and are sometimes unpleasant, don't value their customers, just want your money. The only pay the 5-piece band $400, but they are the reason people go there on Fridays, and should be paid several times as much. Unless you want a martini or other custom drink, there are much better places to spend your money. It's so poor, particularly since owner Cindy Breslin got sick and died, that it may not survive another year.
Blase Cafe is a very fun place, committed to great live entertainment, and the pizza is pretty good. But, the service there is just awful now. They only had one bartender behind the bar for the entire place - probably a hundred customers. Service was slow. Took 40 minutes for pizza. But, the most disturbing thing was that we were overcharged. When we brought the menu to the waitress to point out the discrepancy, she said, "The prices on the menu have all gone up by $3 or $4 dollars." This proved not to be true once the manager got involved. However, the manager only seemed interested in the fact that we drank the wine. "Did you drink it?" he asked. Not sure what difference that makes. Is it more expensive when you actually drink the wine???? The difference was refunded. Be careful here - they take your credit card and hold it before ordering. You don't have a choice like at other bars. And I've NEVER had that request when ordering food at a sit down restaurant. As I said, it is always fun at the Blase, and the food is good. I don't really understand what is going on with the service or why we were lied to. Check what you're charged . . .

Worst service I ever experienced. Waited 45 min. to place drink order,and waited another 40 minutes to place a dinner order that never even was served. Had to find waitress to tell her we were leaving because of total lack of any control of their restaurant. Great band, but even that didn't make up for their total complacency.
Absolutely loved it here !! The best martini bar I have visited !! It’s very comfortable here and they have a very unique variety of martinis. The bar tender Henry was amazing!!
