Well lets be honest!! Since Bill is not in the picture anymore, the business has gone down hill in the worst way.Rude and inappropriate staff !!Small portions!!Nickel and dime you to death!!The water taste like pond water!! Needs a better filter or something !!Dinner special are "very" misleading, just watch the monitors on the wall. There is very little meat in the turkey dinnerThey show a really nice meal . but doesnt come close to what they serve.The food us mediocre at best!!They claim onions are in the burgers and patty melt meat. But they are not noticeable or can you taste them. Food is very bland at best!!Ive been comimg here for many years,and have always over tip'd the wait staff hoping they'll dio better next time. But it hasnt helped at all!! but ive found much better dinners elsewhere.Wait staff is a big problem in this greasy spoon!!The restaurant needs alot of cleaning !!Shelly really needs to be nicer to her customers!! Her rude attitude towards everyone including her own staff needs to change.Word of mouth advertising goes along way!!
Next time I will take a picture. Those were Not breakfast potatoes they were burnt chips. I would never try to give these to a paying customer. Other then that I still love the place.
A small hometown family owned restaurant where community members meet and share friendship and homemade food. Locals frequent this place and bring family members to enjoy the cuisine. Everyone is welcomed with open arms and treated like family. They also support the community with fundraising for local families in need.
What more could you ask for it so cheap the portions are big and it's delicious it really is some tasty home cooking
Got a couple stare's from the customers but I am a brown young man in an elderly white neighborhood so that's expected.Staff was friendly and very helpful. Food was good also, they have a wide variety of bread so that's a plus.4/5 Do Recommend. Staff makes up for it, food was okayWill be back many more times because I like the ambient of it
I usually do a late breakfast, pancakes, eggs, and meat. Always very good. I often enjoy interacting with the folks there.
We always go here during our stay in sarasota,they have lovely food the prices are very reasonable,you can go for breakfast dinner or tea,or all of them,the service is excellent and its not crowded,they do not push you to go,a really enjoyable place to eat,much better than a dennys or macs,the food is all cooked ther on the premises so you know its good.
I've been eating here for 25 years and it's the perfect place to have a great meal with family & friends!
Love those little tasty mini burgers!? DELICIOUS!!! Onion rings super good too.They have great Specials, Friday All you can eat fried fish.
Had the turkey special,Simply good , home town food .I will be back .
