WOW! We haven’t had Chinese food this good since leaving Philadelphia years ago! Our order was for “take out”. Truly authentic flavors. The chicken fried rice was fantastic! Not just some rice with soy sauce, egg, and peas, but the real thing! We had a variety of other items— orange chicken, Kung Pow chicken and pepper steak. All were excellent. We will definitely come back.
Spent a week in Sarasota and ate here on three occasions. The Singapore Mei Fun, egg rolls and Broccoli in garlic sauce are great and rival anything I have eaten in Seattle, Portland and Vancouver, BC. Service was excellent and reminded me of a gentler time in the world. We're coming back to Sarasota in the fall and this will be first stop on the itinerary.
I have had the take out Szechuan Chicken yesterday, today, last week and a few more times in the last months. Every time the quality and amazing taste was exactly the same! Will continue to go there for sure!
We drive almost an hour to frequent this restaurant. Best Chinese Food Ever. Small, delightful place to dine with Very Friendly Staff. Will return again Soon!!
The food was great. I would give it a 5 star but only a 4 star bc we got there 30 minutes before closing and they rushed us and even told us we needed to order quickly bc they were closing.
We liked the food(and we're mavens of Chinatown NYC) so that's saying something. The server was on the ball and the dining room is a decent size igiving a real restaurant feel. If you can tune out the ringing of the takeout phone while you dine, this is the place for you.
One of my favorite places. Always a comfortable dine-in experience. Their General's Chicken is the best I've had down here. I am also quite fond of the Seafood Wor Bar, and the egg rolls are always perfection.
Fun night for Chinese New Year. Great staff, family friendly, great prices... loved the ginger duck!
Ignore the fodder from whoever wrote a negative review in December. Yes,they have mainstream american chinese (which are still tasty) but why limit yourself and live a little - experience some of their sterling dishes from the Chef Specialty menu- we chose the Sizzling Eggplant,salted fish and chicken in a hot crock- outstanding! Savory and aromatic with fresh ginger hints in the sauce all beautifully balanced. My husband went for the Happy Family(sorry i forgot the name) another winner full of fresh shrimp,scallops,chicken and vegetables in sauce. Each dish was enough for two and we took home leftovers for tomorrow as did many other happy diners. They offer many authentic dishes and their culinary skills shine through! Prices are reasonable and yes, you can order lunch or dinner combos although the choices are the usual you find at the fastfood places. The difference is they taste so much better here!
First try of Taste of Hong Kong while visiting Siesta Key. Good take out food, convenient, generous portions, fast and friendly service. I had the grouper in brown sauce. Very good.
