The tortillas and salsa were delicious and homemade. The buche/stomach had nice seasoning but sort of had an overpowering oily flavor. The tongue was cut so small and was a bit stringy/dry. Usually I get a nice, braised, juicy tongue in these tacos. The staff were polite and we didn't wait long. Maybe worth going back to try one of their specialties, like the mole
We are visiting Sarasota for a girls getaway and thought hmmmm Mexican food at a gas station, but you guys LEGIT it is so good!! Paul was so nice and we all LOVED our food.
First of all.... I know you wouldnt think the most amazing delicious Mexican food of your life would be experienced at the local Texico gas station... but brace yourself for a great food experience! This place has the best Mexican food I've ever had... sopes, picaditas, chimichangas, the beans and rice---- the variety of fresh made hot sauces.... it's worth every penny and consistent each time. The staff is quick, friendly, and the food is always made fresh and hot. YUM
Don't hesitate to eat hear. It's the best Mexican in town and I have tried all of them the 20 years I have live in Sarasota.
Don't be deterred by the fact that this restaurant is inside a gas station because the food is spectacular. Always great ingredients freshly prepared. If you come around lunch time be prepared to wait in line
Awesome food, tastes phenominal, great selection of food to choose from as well. All.the food is fresh and warning this place is always busy thats how good the food is! We will always be back !
The tacos are okay but I’ve been waiting for 40 minutes and they messed up my order and have to remake it….In the end a 10 dollar taco plate will consume about 1.30 minutes, so if you need to get lunch on a break forget it.
I literally live off this place hands down my favorite place to eat I never get tired of it and the sauces are FIRE ? the menu is huge and it’s all good. Freakin love you guys
I think it’s fair to say best taqueria in Sarasota. The fact that it’s ALWAYS filled with Spanish speaking workmen at lunch is a testament to the great taste and reasonable prices. I’m a big fan of the shrimp tacos and carnitas. El pastor is pretty darn good too. The best deals are the large lunch plates with rice and beans. Only time I was disappointed was when I went just before closing and the carnitas were dry. Lunch is always amazing.
I Just Love Taco Jalisco! First they have great Atmosphere and Very Courteous,Clean with the Excellent Food I was Surprised The Quality in A gas Station but The Food is Simply Amazing. They have the best Burritos to Comfort food with beans ,rice, Taco Plus vast Menu. It’s just so Good !
