I was craving the fresco melt the day they had closed.???????????Finally got my fix! Though, it would be awesome if they could use a little more heat and butter the bread mPore so you get that crispy grilled cheese sandwich bread. I've had 2(I really like em) and they both lacked any crispness. I won't give up just yet. Another time before they had closed. Living with my friend a little further than I live now(literally next door)Order 3 kids cheeseburger meals, 2 plain with sprites(ordered just like that) and 2 melts. My melt and my daughters 2 plain cheeseburgers were there but not my best friends melt and her sons burger. He got his fries. Never got that compensated.I'll up the stars when all I'd back on par
Dirtiness restaurant ever! Floors were filthy, only 2 people in the restaurant and we couldn't find a clean table. The seats full of crumbs and greasy. The dividers between booths were smeared and nasty. Bathroom was filthy. What has happened to steak n steak??? I was so grossed out I wont be back. Heartbreaking to see a favorite lifetime fun place so filthy.
My GF and I went through the drive thru at 7:30pm kinda expecting cold food since closing time is 8. To my surprise Autumn who took our order was so nice and had fresh food made in no time. My gf was not feeling good and Autumn's positive energy really made her day. Since the reopening this place is great.
I have always loved their milkshakes. When they reopened, I was thrilled. I ordered a plain chocolate milkshake, no whipped cream but an X cherry or 2, please. Their menu board says 4.39. The gal taking my order gave me a price of 5 plus. Since there was a line behind me, I decided to talk with her at the window. She was firm with the price. I left sans milkshake. I called on my way home, asked to speak with the store manager (same gal that waited on me answered the phone. "I am a manager." she said. I reiterated that I needed the store manager, not 'a manager' .I did not get the store manager & sadly will miss their milkshakes.
I’ve been twice since they reopened. First time was perfect! Second time was also great, little slower wait time but waited maybe like 3-4 mins when I pulled around front. This place was shut down and I know many were upset, please give this establishment and many other food establishments a break during this time before posting a poor review as they are obviously trying to keep doors open.Better than any Steak ‘n Shake I went to back in Middle TN when I lived in Nashville.
June 27, 2022. Ate a double burger meal, came home, and in 30 minutes had gurgling cramping and immediate massive diarrhea. This is clearly bacterial infection from contaminated food from unsanitary conditions. I filed a report online with a Florida agency who did a July 1 inspection which found mold and slime on food prep surfaces, weak soap solutions at 0, and low water pressure for effective hand washing. I've eaten at this Steak n Shakes for 6 years, but never again. You would think after being shut down recently with many violations would have made them keep their place sanitary.
I don't go here a lot but I don't know why because there food never disappoints,I absolutely love there shakes and everything is very well put together,I definitely recommend getting it if your looking for just a simple meal and shake.
I guess I will say steak and shake is okay it's just they used to wait on you and now you have to order your food off of a off of a off of a computer menu and so there is no service really for them to wait on you so I guess that's my downfall on it now
This people seriously lowered the quality of their hamburger specials in order to keep price the same, making a very good hamburger not so good. NICE MOVE. Maybe they should re-take Marketing Class 101 which they obviously failed. Absolutely AMAZING. I can't eat there now.
I think if your paying for your food you should be able to get some sauce without having to pay .75 for each I mean 2 combos 20$ come on. I was told I couldn't get a strawberry and chocolate side by side shake because...... They would have to change the syrup! Come on you don't even manually take orders anymore it's all done by kiosks you got time CHANGE THE SYRUP!!!!!The burgers were GREAT as usual though
