Yes it is real Pizza. This is the real deal up North New Jersey pizza experience. Most important is the pie. Soft chewy inside, crisp, not burned outside. Tasty homemade sauce & plenty of real stretchy, gooey, mozzarella cheese. The counter has the typical glass double shelf packed with ready to go pizza slice choices & a huge stack of house made garlic knots. The sit-down restaurant space is clean and welcoming like any neighborhood Italian restaurant should be and the walls are filled with just the right amount of stuff to send you right back to Hoboken.2 thumbs-up. These guys nailed it.I lived most of my life up that way so I would know.
Was down visiting family from NJ and heard about Solorzano Bros on Facebook. Decided to check it out. Pizza was really good for Florida. Crust was crispy and tasty. Sauce was yummy. Garlic knots were a little dry, but flavorful. Owners are from Hoboken, NJ so they know how to make a good pizza! 4 out of 5 stars only because it was still missing that authentic NJ taste I know and love, that you just can't explain.
Best pizza in Sarasota, don’t mix it up with the other Solorzano locations. This location doesn’t serve up food poisoning like the one on Gulf Gate. The yogurt bowl was delicious too.
By far the best pizza we have had since we moved here 11 years ago ,I dont know why it took us so long to try it , got a flyer in the mail and its only 2 miles from our house. We will definitely be ordering from here from now on
Great place for a quick lunch. Fresh food and friendly staff. Very clean and welcoming vibe.
Pizza is one of the best I have found here. Crispy, thin crust with generous toppings. Staff very friendly and attentive. The dining area has that old Italian restaurant feel.
Best garlic knots I’ve ever had in Sarasota! The atmosphere is welcoming and upbeat! The playlist fit the spot perfectly. 10/10 recommend
We ordered for the 1st time and did a timed delivery and they delivered exactly on time!! Our delivery guy was super nice and our food was hot. We will definitely be ordering Solorzano Bros. from now on!! Thank you!!!
Below average pizza and got our order wrong. We ordered a 16 inch supreme pizza and only received a 12 inch, and it tasted like soggy cardboard that hadn’t been thrown in the oven. Chili cheese dog was okay, but could tell the hot dog was boiled. Don’t recommend. Only saving grace was that it arrived on time thanks to uber eats.
This pizzeria has really gone down hill since my last visit a couple months ago. I showed up at the time my online order instructed me to last night, and ended up waiting an additional 25 mins. After giving my name to pick up my order, I was told that my pizza was still in the oven…and then witnessed my pizza be made and go into the oven at that time. I understand that technological and/or staff errors occur, and that it was a very busy night, so I wasn’t angry about the additional wait knowing that my favorite pizza was in my near future. Then upon ingesting the pizza when I got home, I came to experience a burn crust, garlic knots that tasted very stale, and a $7 house salad that was 95% romaine lettuce.I’ll be sticking to Origins pizza from now on.
