Stopped in for a late lunch after the beach and had an AMAZING meal and PHENOMENAL service. After we finished our meal we found out that the restaurant had closed 30 minutes ago (we walked in 5 minutes before they closed without even knowing!). The staff did not turn us away when we walked in right before closing, they served us a fabulous lunch that tasted fresh even though the kitchen was closing up, and they didn’t rush us out the door. I couldn’t believe it! I felt awful that we put them in that position but I couldn’t believe how awesome they handled it. Top notch. Our server was so kind and helpful, honestly I can’t say enough good things about this place.Amazing vegan and vegetarian options, I can’t wait to return and try more!

My wife and I visited Simon’s this morning to congratulate our friends Jerry and Jill Williams on their acquisition of Simon’s Coffee House. We were very happy with the quality of the food and impressed with the service we enjoyed from the friendly waitress who served us. This is a breakfast/lunch restaurant that I would classify as a great find to enjoy a clean facility, comfortable atmosphere with excellent sizable portions of quality food. My wife Norma and I want to congratulate Jerry and Jill on their new endeavor. We are confident they will carry on the successful path that Simon created when he founded and operated Simon’s Coffee House for the past several years. We have a business history with Jerry and Jill. We sold them Abel’s Ice Cream on Stickney Point Road Sarasota FL over 6 years ago. They have made us very proud in the way they carried on with our business strategy offering a large selection of quality products served in a clean facility by friendly staff. They clearly have a proven history of carrying on the tradition of the founder’s business philosophy. Bill Abel

Awesome food for all. I love the Essex Boy vegan English breakfast, with bubble and squeak, homemade baked beans, lentil loaf, grilled tomato, tofu scramble and multi grain toast. Topped off with a mimosa, perfect brunch! Veggie and carnivore options too. Great coffee. Awesome staff!

Excellent vegan and non-vegan menu. Helpful and friendly wait staff. A little on the pricier side, but everything tasted fantastic. Highly recommend the Bollywood Burger!

One of my new favorite breakfast spots! Diverse menu with unique flavor profiles. They are happy to sub for vegan options (turmeric tofu for scrambled eggs, lentil loaf for sausage, sietan bacon) so I was able to have a great filling vegan breakfast here. The coffee is also delicious, I had a latte with almond milk. The space is cute and easy to have conversation with your company. All of the staff were welcoming and full of smiles. Would love to return if I'm passing by Sarasota again.

Great find on 41. Three eateries joined together. We had coffee and a cookie each, which was very nice and also indulgent! The staff were excellent. Would definitely return and have a meal next time.

Always a happy and cozy vibe. Have been coming here for around 15 years. Super nice staff that loves being there and the food is fresh and healthy. For breakfast or lunch....and don't forget to finish things off with one of their freshly baked goods.

Wildly disappointing and a complete waste of money. Coffee is good but as far as the “vegan” items go… they’re not even close to a complete meal. This Mediterranean bowl is desperately missing something, some quinoa or potatoes or kale as a base would make this edible. But as it is, it is a weak example of a “bowl” with just 3 ingredients in pesto. Very overpriced. The Buddha bowl is not much better - ours was actually missing the soy sausage entirely. Again, tofu carrots and mushrooms sitting in their own water are all you’re getting here. $40 for two coffees and two small portions of tofu essentially. Will not be coming back, don’t recommend, and for what this costs I hope they take my idea of adding a $1 ingredient to make these dishes feel a little more whole.
