Reliably good! Been eating there for years and years and they serve good food good flavors .... comfort middle eastern .....
I am a big fan of Mediterranian cuisine and this place is really incredible. There's a lot of options and a large menu. Definitely no complaints from me.
Poor location. Great food! Family owned and operated (hence the reasonable family hours) with really authentic Mediterranean food. My wife and I loved everything we ordered and will definitely be going back.The location is in a strip mall with limited parking out front (you can go to the back for additional parking) and it's tough to get back going south on Tamiami or East on Bahia Vista.P.S. They also sell their pitas in a 6-pita bag for purchase so my wife and I took these home so we could enjoy the soft bread at home as well.
Oddly enough this cuisine is very popular in Canada, where I am from. I really missed it, and I was so excited to try Sahara Cafe. I am so glad I did. It is amazing. I love the combination wrap. Omg. Everything tastes so fresh. The family that runs this place are wonderful too. Highly recommend
A diamond in the rough! Simple restaurant, order at the counter, food is brought to your table. Best Gyro meat and tzatziki I've had in a while. Homemade pitas are delicious. Wished I would have taken a picture. Next time ?
Good food and friendly people, I came too close to closing so they were out of alot of food options , but the gyro and falafel I got was delicious
Fantastic and delicious restaurant in the hospital corridor of Sarasota, located in Saba Plaza. Food is absolutely delicious. Family run restaurant, so owners are present for quality control on a daily basis. The business is also a market, offering middle eastern and Mediterranean spices and foods for you to take home if you are so inclined. The restaurant itself looks newly renovated, so it feels really nice in there and definitely is conducive to an overall great experience. Thank you for the food. I will certainly be back.
We love Sahara Cafe! We drive from Port Charlotte to Sarasota to eat here. The food is consistently great!
I went their with my friends and I was trying Greek food for the first time. It was really nice, would love to revisit this place soon.
