This is one of the most creative chefs in town. The Zucchini blossoms are amazing. The Grilled Octopus is a combination of flavors that left me wondering how a recipe like this could be created. A normal person doesn't think " oh, I'm going to place grilled tender octopus on top of a mound of Crispy Farro and slices of pickled watermelon and finish it with a drizzle of nouc mam. Seriously! The dish was both optically tantalizing and delicious to eat. My wife had the Skate which was a such a pleasure to enjoy. Rarely, if ever, seen on a menu in America, Skate is such a great alternative to the standard fish that we see in every market and menu. Chef Chris has done an amazing job with Sage and has breathed new life into his new restaurant, Bijou Garden Cafe. I can't wait to see what he introduces in the future.

Sage has really gotten itself together! Excellent servers, interesting menu, and very well prepared food. To make things even better, price points for an upscale restaurant are quite moderate.
We selected Sgae from a list of excellenly rated resturants in Sarasota. It was our anniversary and we wanted a special plac to celebrate. We ended up inside because of the forecasted inclement weather, but the resturant di not disappoint us. We had a lovely table on the balcony level that gave us a unique view of the resturant, The entire meal was excellent
Great dinner! Highly recommend top few places in SRQ must do! Summer Prix Fixe good value. Great rooftop and craft cocktails. Love the Zucchini Flowers, Foie Gras, Thai Bouillabaisse, and Skate Wing.

I usually skip reviews and chalk up experiences to lessons learned. Staff were great, love the building. Food was unremarkable for the price point. Enjoy a drink and the atmosphere, skip the menu.
