The Staff was so sweet and helpful! Coffee was amazing and the food was fantastic!
In one MAIN staple of the cuisine, the Cuban sandwich, it is a fail, especially because they charge for EXTRA meat. (Seems like others got defrauded, too.) Here is what I got:• a SLIVER of pork• a single but folded slice of ham• missing Swiss• a tissue-thin sliver of pickles—all leaving a lot of bread with no fixings.The prep. of the Cuban has long been inconsistent and is not at all worth $11.45+ for the “extras.” I mean, a Cuban spot with a meager Cuban sandwich is disappointing. At the very least, charge 50% less because that’s what it’s worth at best.One area of kudos is: they do have a couple of great servers. Overall, it pretty good place for authentic Cuban food because they DO serve a number of delish main dishes, including breakfast —even though it IS on the pricey side for what they offer.
My favorite Cuban restaurant in Sarasota. From the delicious cafe con leche to the smooth and creamy Flan de leche, everything is perfect. The staff are also very warm and welcoming. I come so often now that I feel like part of the family. The music is authentic latin music and creates the perfect atmosphere. I would eat here every night if my husband would let me...ha ha!!!
I ordered the special of the day , which was chicken with rice beans plantains and Cuban toast . The chicken was a leg quarter which is supposed to be a nice juicy dark meat . However it was severely over cooked I mean it was basically like chewing on drywall . I understand that things happen like that in a kitchen but what really made me angry was the lack of customer service . I told the server it was dry and that I didn’t like it nor would I eat it . He didn’t take it off the bill , so when he brought the check I asked him to take it off , he went and spoke with the manager , came back and said they won’t take it off the bill . The manager did not come to the table to speak with me . They did not take the trash drywall chicken off the bill and he did not offer to bring me anything else instead or even ask if I wanted anything else . So I ended up paying for a meal that I didn’t even eat . I highly recommend spending your money anywhere else , as there are many great restaurants in sarasota . Rincon Cubano is not one of them . 0 stars bad food bad service .
This place has such a good tasty food, I loved it, definitely my favorite Cuban place to eat, I recommend it 100% if you try it you’re definitely coming back
Love this Cuban restaurant!!! My girlfriend and me stop in for lunch every other Tuesday!! The food is always made fresh and very warm!!? Never disappointed. Very clean!!! Wonderful employees!!
Absolutely delicious! The best take out! Got the Lechon with the boiled yucca, sweet plantains, yellow rice, and black beans. It was soooo good! Exactly what I remember Cuban food tasting like!
Nice atmosphere, good food at a decent price. Had a very tasty Cuban sandwich and was quite satisfied. Nice people work there as well.
Excellent lunch at Rincon Cubans with my wife. I had the Saturday special, pulled pork, rice and plantains. Delicious! My wife had the chicken soup which was also very good. Excellent food, excellent value, great place.
Restaurant is spacious, clean and wonderfully decorated! Great food, our meal met my wife’s gluten-free diet, except Cuban toast which I found delicious. Black bean soup was delicious.
