Rico's on Gateway Ave. In Sarasota Well, we (parents and myself) were impressed with the staff, who were engaging and informative. I explained to our server that this was our first. For appetizers we ordered mushrooms, then added wings. Both were great. We ordered Chichen Marsala, Spaghetti with meatballs and a meaty lasagna. All were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The side salads were crisp, cold and well presented. The garlic bread was crisp and hearthy, obviously as fresh as the salads. The service was always quick and responsive. The mini cheescake sample was a huge win also. We will be returning as I put in an order for their TShirts. My only complaint was no fresh made sweet tea,
2nd time going here. 1st time was carry out in 2020, but tonight we stopped in and thankfully they were having a slow evening in their dining room as we had a party of 14. They welcomed us with open arms. Extremely kid friendly. Waitress named “ICE” was patient, quick to serve, and great with the kids. The food was amazing. YOU MUST GO HERE.
I always get my pizza from Rico’s because it’s just like Jersey Shore’s pizza but never thought about trying their Philly Sub. I tried almost everywhere else and none compared to a real Philly cheesesteak in flavor like in Philly until I recently tried Rico’s. Since my first a few weeks ago this is the 3rd time we are getting them. They are absolutely delicious!!! Thank you Rico’s ❤️
Great value, large portion sizes, tasty foods, friendly staff, and quick service! We can split a takeout order of lasagna and salad and be pleasantly full. Pizza is served hot and crispy!
Dry, very yummy pizza. This is the margarita pizza with extra basil. Customer service was amazing and the entertainment from the television was a nice bonus. I definitely recommend this place!
Talk about an experience... Tiny little spot that pumps out some of the most amazing food I've had. They created My favorite dish veal francais that's not even on the menu. Absolutely incredible. Surface was great but the chef coming out and talking to me and making me exactly what I wanted in The closing half hour was incredible. Well beyond what anybody would normally do. It was Saint Patrick's Day to boot. A true value in the heart of gulfgate. Highly recommend.
Ordered a margarita pizza with extra pepperoni.When I received it, it was a plan cheese pizza with a few pieces of pepperoni on it.It was not made as advertised.Please learn how to make an original margarita pizza with fresh tomatoes garlic basil OO and cheese.
Best pizza hands down. Came from Clearwater to explore and bring our 3 year old fur baby to chemo Dr. And this pizza cheered us up! What a flavor reminded me of new jersey boardwalk pizza!!! Great pizza!!!!!?
I ordered a pizza and Stromboli at lunch time today and when I ate it, the pizza and stromboli was raw! It was the most disgusting food I’ve ever had. A complete waste of over $40!
Reminded me of that small neighborhood pizza shop that excels at what they do... Don't expect a spacious restaurant with dozens of tables and the red and white checkered table cloths... This is a carryout/delivery pizza joint that squeezed in 4 or 5 tables for a few lucky sit down patrons. Super people, great food.
