I live for Reyna's! I'd eat here every day if I could. Seriously my favorite restaurant ever. Every item has been delicious, staff is friendly and happy. Their barbacoa is stuff dreams are made of.
Today’s Special on THURSDAYS! Oh my gosh. Go. They are still open. Suadera Tacos made with delicious brisket, (the perfect mix of fat and crispy goodness) and a crunchy slaw with red and green cabbage, carrots, red onion and tiny slivers of fresh jalapeños and cilantro all “tidy like” on a blue corn tortilla. Family owned and run. Mamma’s in the kitchen. If you SADLY miss it today~Saturday is TAMALE DAY! Until they sell out….. Don’t dress fancy. T-shirts and shorts will do. You order at the counter and they bring out your piping hot food. Like any great place to dine should.
Excellent place to enjoy it with family/friends with a delicious house food. You have to try it!! And the margarita, the best!!!

I am a native and lifetime resident to Sarasota. I ordered a party platter for the 4th of July weekend for my family 10 people (2022). Chef Gino and his staff were helpful in guiding me on what was needed to fit my parties needs. When I went to pick up the food it was ready on time and Gino helped me load it into my car. After a 20 minute drive home the food was still fresh and hot as if it was just delivered to my table at the restaurant. Between the kids and the adults the verdict was stellar. I have been eating from here for over a year and Reyna's has never disappointed. I highly recommend this establishment for the quality of service, quality of cuisine, and the quality of the food/cook. I look forward to many more meals in the future. Sincerely, Michael Iltis
Food was excellent and the service was great! Absolutely will be eating there again. I was surprised by how empty it was on a Friday night. Plenty of seating without any problems. Music was louder than I would have preferred, which made conversation difficult at times. That's the only reason why I gave four stars in stead of five.
100% BEST IN TOWN! When I tried the food, It brought me back to my favorite meal from Mexico and Costa Rica. Thank you! Sooo delicious and flavorful!!! Please don’t ever change! Love the hot sauces too!
Authentic amazing food. From the time you walk in and place your order from the menu over the counter your greeted with a smile. They drop your food off at your table then come by and ask how was everything. It’s delicious and a fantastic experience best hidden gem in Sarasota!
Had Reyna’s birria tacos on Cinco de Mayo (coincidence really, I’ve been dying to try them for years) and overall they were fantastic. This is my first time trying birria in general so I won’t pretend to have anything to compare them to but from a lot of posts and videos I’ve seen, the stew that accompanies them looked like it could have had a little more substance to it (ie: kinda darker, or oilier. It seemed a little watery) but it was very good nonetheless. The house red sauce that was served with it was off the chain, and the elote we ordered was bangin’!
We ordered a taco bar for 25 people for pick up and everything tasted great! It was warm when we picked it up & everyone raved at the flavors. Staff was also very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
