Came back after the pandemic.....muffins still very good.however coffee is too much hit and miss,depending on the individual behind the counter....and coffee is too important to be random !!!
I was really craving bagels. But by the time I got there, near closing time, there were none left (of course). I was afraid they'd be too snobby & would lack good customer service skills. I was almost shocked by how friendly & professional they were! Lots of companies should learn from these people!To make their time worthwhile, I ordered a cold Caramel Mocha with Espresso. Marin (excuse any misspelling) went through the trouble of "blending" my coffee like a frappuccino, topping it with whipped cream, caramel & chocolate drizzling. It was just as good as Starbucks, but I'm sick of spending my money on big corporate companies that charge too much, especially for milk substitutes. If it costs the same, I'd rather support a small, neighborhood cafe. Pastry Art Cafe had substitutes: Oat Milk & Almond Milk. They charged, but not too much.The environment was casual but respectful, with calming & soothing music. They have free Wi-Fi as well. It's such a shame I got there late. But parking wasn't free, the only thing I didn't like about this visit.Next time, I'm ordering a REAL TOASTED Sesame bagel with a yummy topping. Panera has discontinued my favorite toppings & rarely have Sesame bagels when I'm there. They're the next company I'm discontinuing for my beloved bagel meals.

Nice pet friendly place to relax outside- amazing pastries but good sandwiches, salads. The quinoa salad was excellent. No waiters- just order inside and carry it out.
I absolutely LOVE Pastry Art, they have incredible coffee, sandwiches and pastries.I do have to say I'm pretty sad they close earlier now, I'm guessing it's due to lack of staff like the rest of the world, but I miss grabbing food and coffee on my way to work in the late afternoon.
Great little coffee shop with plenty of outdoor seating. Muffins are wonderful, and the coffee is really good.
Cute little shop in downtown Sarasota. Great prices for coffee and pastries. There was a good selection of sandwiches although I did not try one myself. Staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable on the menu. Will be returning as their pastries were pleasant. I recommend a Con Leche coffee !
This is the most wonderful pastry shop in Sarasota. The coffee and pastries are first class. The staff and service is first class. Plenty of outdoor seating.
Got a hummus appetizer that was very dry and they didnt have any sauce like tahini i could use. It was cheap though
Walking around the Farmers market and decided to stop in for coffee. As we walked up to the Cafe the large outdoor seating area was completely full; when we walked inside 95% of the tables taken as well. So,.needless to say it was popular this morning.Have breakfast and lunch items, pastries and expresso. The caramel lattes were good. I ordered a spinach wrap since the vege wrap wasn't available... it was average. My husband had the Cuban and enjoyed it.Prices were reasonable. A small wait due to the number of customers ordering. Teamwork between all staff could be better. ....
