This place is a little gem! I'm so happy I found it. The food was excellent and the portions were large. It was really affordable too which is rare these days. The atmosphere was upbeat and our server was awesome. We got there right before closing but they were incredibly welcoming and didn't rush us at all. I will definitely be frequenting Mirna's again soon.
Wow! Was worth the wait! The food is amazing and the service is very friendly and professional. Will definitely go back again and again....a new favorite in Sarasota! I totally recommend Imperial Rice but bring your appetite!
A rather sorry-looking exterior and very limited interior, but the line to get in tells you something! I had their Ropa Viejo as a take-out item and it was the best meal among a bunch of excellent meals we had.
Went here for lunch and chose where to sit. We have been here before about 3 years ago and wanted to come back. The food is AMAZING!!! We both got the chicken steak and I got double rice and beans. The flavors and the portions you receive are way more than what you expect to pay for. Great prices, great employees and eating environment. Can’t wait to go back!
Hands down the Best Authentic Cuban sandwich I've ever tasted. The bread was crunchy and fresh the meat was delicious!

It is a small place, and we got take out. We got 3 sandwiches, Cubano, Ropa Viejo, and Roast pork. All of us loved the Ropa Vieja sandwich best. Also the mango juice drink was refreshing! And they run out of desserts quickly! We tried twice and they were out! ( 2pm and 4:30pm!) Very friendly staff. We got take out, but there are some tables inside. Parking around back.

We first ate Cuban food in Miami over 25 years ago. Have never had Cuban as good as that since then . . . until Mirna's! This food is the real deal, and we loved everything we ordered - Vaca Frita, Cuban sandwich, cafe con leche, and flan. This restaurant would be enough reason to move to Sarasota! We were going to get it to go, but upon entering the restaurant we realized we needed to enjoy our food and the aromas while eating there! Can't wait to return! 5 stars!
We are Cuban-Americans and know good Cuban food! Mirna’s is the REAL THING! Delicious food with excellent service! Very generous portions at very affordable prices. Don’t miss the Flan for dessert!
