We had a wonderful dinner tonight. great escargot, table side preparation of hot spinach salad. I had duck al'orange and Peter had a fillet mignon. our friend Bella had lamb chops. martini's, wine and great conversation. All was excellent and we will be back!!!
Nice restaurant. Excellent meal. Good selection. Only downside was meal took hours. I think that is just this type of establishment. But the service was good. It seems pricey but when you compare what your paying at the places in the village for average food Miguel’s is worth it. They also were able to accommodate us later in the day without reservations. I would definitely recommend.
We absolutely loved dining at Miguel’s. Our waiter (Brendan) was phenomenal. We have a 13 month old and I was so worried about bringing him but it couldn’t have been a better experience. The food, wine, and dessert were all delicious. We will definitely be going back!

Found this restaurant by mistake while on vacation. Don't let the location in a strip mall fool you. The food is truly 5 star as well as the atmosphere and service and VALUE.. They do a table side ceaser salad to die for. The escargot in butter was fantastic. They have a garlic soup (never had that before) that was delicious. My roasted dick l'orange-fantastic. Seafood Vent-3 sea foods in a baked crust-Delicious. Don't get me started on the chocolate mouse. And different flaming deserts done table side. And the have an early bird menu 7 days a week that is 4 course and no more than $25.00. DO NOT MISS THIS. But make a reservation. And guess what, Casual attire. Ask for Joe or Zowie.

This restaurant offers early bird specials that are wonderful. The food offered was great. Early Bird specials included an appetizer, salad, main course and dessert. Each course was delicious. The service was excellent.
Ate at Miguel's tonight for the first time and had a wonderful experience. We chose from the early bird menu and everything was superb. The waiter, Malakai, was attentive, friendly and polite - nothing was too much trouble for him. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. We look forward to returning during our next stay in Siesta Key.
We had friends come to visit and took them to Miguel's for dinner. The staff was great and the food was amazing. We had the duck which was delicious! The wine selection was extensive and our server was friendly and attentive. We are never disappointed when we visit!!
Read so many good reviews of this place, we cancelled a reservation elsewhere to go here. What advertises itself as a French restaurant looks like it was Chinese or Mexican and never remodeled. The only thing French were 3 wooden wine signs. Food was decent. Service was an issue. The poor overworked waitress prepare their signature Caesar salad tableside while other tables wait to order or get their already ordered food. I understand they might be understaffed, but she shouldn't being wasting her time making salads and slicing steak. We also told the waitress we and the couple we were dining with were both celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We thought maybe a candle or something with our desserts. Not to be. Great expectations were not rewarded. Still want to know what is French about this place. We asked and were told the owner was French Canadian. Take that as you will.
