We were visiting my cousins in Lakewood Ranch and they suggested this restaurant. We had a party of six and had a beautiful view from our table of the harbor. Our server, I wish I could remember her name. She was spectacular! The banter we had going back and forth was fun. She was efficient and simply wonderful. I had the salmon. It was PERFECT! Everyone enjoyed their food and we left very happy and satisfied. The server even took a group photo of us per our request. I highly recommend this restaurant!
We had 3 dinners at Marina Jack - one to taste the food prior to my son's wedding, one rehearsal dinner, and of course, one wedding! Each time the food was delicious and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the crab cakes. Service was attentive and pleasant. Views of the water cannot be beat.
We went for Happy Hour on the patio, from 4-6pm. Several apps on offer for $7, plus a range of beers, wines, cocktails and shorts. We recommend highly the salmon sliders which come with fries and the rum runner cocktails were lovely. Luis, our server on both visits, was friendly, professional, with a ready smile. What a great way to spend a hot afternoon, watching the boats on the water with a beautiful breeze in such a gorgeous setting. A bargain meal as portions were big: thank you for some nice memories.
We were very pleased with this excursion. Lunch was very good: beans/cauliflower, chicken marsala, salmon, salad, and three desserts. The captain narrated the journey and pointed out celebrity homes and land marks. Very interesting and easy for us seniors to manage.
We had a wonderful time aboard the Marina Jack II and can't wait to do it again! The staff were attentive and friendly. The passengers were having a great time! Lots of laughter and excitement among the kids, parents and grandparents. It felt good to me to be among them after so much pandemic social distancing.Sarasota is a beautiful city and we loved seeing it from the Gulf. The sunset was gorgeous and the beautiful homes along the way were to die for.Dinner was really good. We especially loved the salmon and the scalloped potatoes! Yum! There is also a Marina Jack restaurant at the marina that we want to try the next trip to Sarasota.If you have a disability, feel comfortable knowing that you will be helped by the staff. I personally saw the care that was taken of the disabled elderly. It was touching to me.Valet parking was easy and inexpensive. That was also a plus.

Best restaurant in the Sarasota/Siesta Key/Lido Key area! Our dinner was amazing, beginning to end. The views from our table were spectacular, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch! Will definitely return to Marina Jack on our next visit to Sarasota!
A great, relaxing, delicious lunch today at Marina Jack’s. My husband, who must eat gluten free, really enjoyed the bunless blue cheese burger and I had the Caesar salad with grilled salmon on top. Both were served promptly by an attentive waitress. Couldn’t have been better from beginning to end.
We were recommended Marine Jacks for lunch and we were so glad we were able to find time during a family wedding weekend for lunch. We were able to sit right by the water and the waitress was so friendly and helpful with suggestions. We all enjoyed our food, the atmosphere and the beautiful view. I would definitely recommend and would definitely return. It was fantastic
Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant, and we plan to return in the future. The menu was varied and the prices were reasonable. The food was served within a reasonable time, and it was delicious. The server was professional and proficient. The view of the bay was visible from just about any table in the dining room, and it was lovely. We've been in the Sarasota area for quite a while, but this was our first opportunity to visit this restaurant. We'll definitely go back, and we have no problem recommending this restaurant to other diners.
