The food was beyond delicious, a great extensive menu that was perfection in each bite. Sadly, the staff/customer service needs some work. The server was just not attentive at all. I had to keep asking for water, she forgot several miscellaneous things I requested upon ordering (jam, ketchup etc.) and still didn’t bring all of them by the end. I ordered a dessert and she brought the wrong one, she did promptly bring out the correct one but then didn’t return to our table for another 15 min after we were done with dessert. An elder woman who I assume was the owner came by to take all Our dishes as our server hadn’t, and was dragging the signs in and out of the store working harder than any of them. Would definitely be back for the food but service has got to step up their game.
Nope. Skip this place. The coffee is weak and the almond croissant was mush. Was told it's because they're baked fresh then stored after. Croissants are flaky, crispy and crunchy goodness with beautiful honeycomb insides of soft deliciousness. Even the plain croissant was disappointing (burnt).EDIT: To the owner, do not reach out to people on Facebook messenger my review above described why I was disappointed with my coffee and pastries. My visit was yesterday morning so whoever was the barista and baker that day you can assess how everything was made and eradicate the issue yourself as the manager and owner.
Would like to try other items on the menu. However the "toasted" ham & cheese croissant I order yesterday was not well prepared. Soggy and wet with no crisp. Sloppy mess, not what I was expecting. Looking forward to trying the crepes...maybe.
Food is good, however, make sure to check your take out order before leaving. They didn’t give us the two croissants we paid for. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize until we got home.
Tried this place for the first time. They small tables inside and outside. Half the outside tables have umbrellas so that was really nice. The atmosphere was very French and well set up. They even had a gentlemen outside playing the accordion. Very much a “French” vibe. Started with mimosas and pastry’s. The marmalade that came with the pastry’s were wonderful! Honestly, we could have just had the pastry’s and been happy! We had the Crepe entree and the egg’s Benedict. First time having it with a pastry but it was fabulous and the egg was cooked perfectly. The host and waitress were very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are a fan of French cuisine. Will most certainly be back.
Great addition to our local downtown area. Beautifully presented pastries, sandwiches and great service. They have great seating outside with a few on the inside . Support local business owners by popping by and trying the assortment of teas and coffee.
My new favorite place in Sarasota! The coffee was beyond delicious and the bakery was so beautiful and delicious. I can not wait to go back and eat breakfast or lunch. The staff were so nice and friendly and that made the visit that much better. Thank you for perfection!
My husband and I stopped for breakfast, or impressed. Coffee tasted burnt, waitress spoke poor English and we had difficulty understanding what she was asking us and they left part of my order off my plate. For the prices they charge, I’d suggest you pass and dine elsewhere.
Delicious salads made fresh, European pastries and baked goods accompanied by a very lovely service!Always feel so welcomed here.
Very nice little bakery and coffee shop. Convenient indoor and outdoor seating made our stay very pleasant. the almond croissant was superb!
