The mussels here are great, fish and chips were good but could use some more flavor, overall great service.

We have been here several times and are always surprised at how rude and inflexible the hostess stand is. If you happen to be waiting for someone to park the car, they won’t seat you. My wife and I went and they had some open tables, but told us we had to wait 20 minutes because the open tables in the dining room were for a four top. Also, this is not a place where you go eat dinner and linger. It’s all about volume here, they get you in and get you out so they can turn and burn. Food is decent at best, but I’d rather spend my money elsewhere as the staff here is not welcoming.
Service was excellent, staff was friendly. I went here expecting to try the lobster roll they serve but it was sold out. I decided to try the seafood burrito, it was pretty good. I would come back to this place to eat.

I was glad for the recommendation of this place. Kind of a hole in the wall place but a legend to the locals. My meal was awesome. I had the rainbow trout meal and the scallop poppers as an appetizer. Everything was spot on. Service was great. These people hustle. Plenty of fresh food being prepared in front of you to see. Can’t wait to go back for a meal when I am back in town.
Exceptional service and food! Royal red shrimp are a must have! Gulf oysters were excellent! Even the bread and butter was just better! You won't be disappointed.
Been to a lot of seafood places in the Sarasota area and this one is always the one I come back to regularly. The food is top-notch and the constantly changing specials make it tough to decide. Have never had a disappointing dish there, though. The grouper, the mahi, the swordfish, the flounder… all delicious. And the potatoes in the side are excellent as well. Don’t fill up on the fresh bread, which is also excellent. Great friendly service too and a nice little fish market on site for those who like to cook themselves.
Pretty good. I need to go back and try other items on their menu. It was hard to decide what to order. That is a great thing for the customers. Great service. You will enjoy the atmosphere. Recommend this to all seafood lovers
This is truly a local staple. The restaurant is also a fish market so very best quality fish. If you are not a huge fish fan then there are plenty of other choices. This is truly reminiscent of the old fish houses that used to be sprinkled all over Florida. A come as you are place.
There First Monday open and Food and Bar tender were awesome ?. Definitely my new Monday spot .Worth a trip if you love seafood one of the best places, atmosphere is great ?.
