I would give this zero stars if I could.... charges $26 for a double that isn't really a double.... chips and salsa were $20... service was sub par. honestly think that they charge absurd prices because they are outside of the ritz carlton. will never go back, not sure why it's hyped and has good reviews.
Great staff, incredible beach but the place needs lots an lots of maintenance. The rooms are outdated and the garden is not well. Someone needs to do something because the location is unbelievable!!!
Great place to sit under the hut/picnic tables and enjoy the cool breeze and the view. It was my birthday and I was served a free yummy Pina Colada! Took it down to the beach with toes in the sand and water. Beautiful waters! Ask for OLAF! He has a great smile and eager to assist you!
Searching out fun spots, super hard to find from street, no signs or parking. Didn't know this was part of Ritz Carlton. Bartenders were only interested in visiting a friend that stopped. Waited for ever for a drink and our dixie cup drinks are super expensive. Not impressed nor did they wipe bar off after people spilt, I cleaned our area so we could sit.
Walked in from the beach with my family for lunch after half mile stroll. Was shouted at basically by woman bartender with nasty attitude that the property was on “lock down” because there was lightning in the area. And no service was available. Yet there were about 10 people at the bar drinking. So I asked, can we at least get drinks? She repeated loudly “it’s a Marriott policy that we are on lockdown and nothing will be served!” Apparently people at the bar are immune to the lightning somehow??? Apparently it’s also Marriott policy to order rude/ignorant bartenders. So nasty. I’m a Marriott Platinum member and credit card holder. To be treated that way when I walk in with my family is a disgrace. Do yourself a favor and go to the tiki bar at Lido Beach Resort. Same/better food selections and drinks were $10 less EACH. OH, and the staff was very nice. Lastly, they were open without some stupid “policy” Stay away from Ritz.
Ordered a rum punch with Goslings. Was told only the inside fancy bar had it. What? The staff was friendly, professional and mixed ok drinks. Food was real subpar for this price point. Either post a sign stating: We only care about our hotel guests; everyone else please leave. OR realize in the hospitality industry that all money is good money and a WELL-RUN establishment uses ALL of their property to maximize profit. Not alienate potential guests. Your tiki bar could actually serve as an advertisement for potential guests… this seems so basic.
Good drinks nice beach ⛱
After a great day on Lido Key beach, three of us decided to end our day with a cocktail at the Tiki bar. The view was very pretty but there must be better places on the island to get a post beach drink. Save your money and go somewhere else where the drinks are good and the service is friendly.
Wanted to find a restaurant/bar that was actually on the beach. Found this through internet searches. It’s attached to the Ritz-Carlton. You can’t park there though unless your staying there for big$$$$$$. Parking is not that far if not busy. Maybe a 8-12 min walk. Bar is nice, on beach but service is slow, expensive and food was real bad. If your rich, not hungry and want a good view, try it out. People were friendly. Not trying to leave a bad review, personally will not go back. Great beach and view though.
After being told we couldn't lunch at Ridley's Porch (since we weren't staying at the Ritz) we were ushered to this tiki bar on their property. We ordered 2 bloody mary's and asked for ice water. Our waiter (Aaron) pointed to a cooler and said "help yourself" (really, at the Ritz Carlton??) We had to ask twice more for some ice. We ordered lunch, mine was chicken quesadillas and my husband had a hot dog. We had to chase down Aaron to order a second drink, a beer for us both, and he disappeared to flirt with the hostess again. We were presented with the check (not being asked if we wanted anything else) and it was $90 (really, for quesadillas and a hot dog??) Oh, sorry, the bloody mary was tito's vodka, a type we didn't request (and $15 each in a plastic cup!). Save your money, go down the street to the Drift Kitchen and Bar! Better service, food and view!
