Awesome! Great menu! Great drinks.

It offered a very nice dining experience and cool vibe.

Love Everything about it! Food Drinks Atmosphere

Food & Service is great! Some of my favorite dishes are the Kojo Roll, Yellow tail Jalapeño and Bluefin Toro Nigiri. The food here is served family style and although they say the portions are large enough I didn’t think they were. We ordered many dishes and although they were very tasty I wasn’t completely full when leaving. Overall I’d still come back because of how great the food was!

Now the 2nd time in two weeks to visit this amazing jewel of a restaurant. The team is well trained and the service is outstanding. They know what a great customer experience is supposed to look like. Plenty of staff to do all that is necessary to ensure their customers are happy and well fed.The food continues to shine...from bao buns to chicken wings to shiangese noodles to tea smoked chicken to their A5 Wagyu special to the final shaved ice dessert...everything is delicious. My friends and I had such a great time eating and taking pictures to make everyone else not there jealous. It was a great time overall!!! The only drawback is that dining room is a bit loud....but with the kind of service and food we got...we looked at the noise as a necessary element as it made it a celebration that everyone was invited to. YUMBOLICIOUS is all I can say about the overall experience. GO TO KOJO immediately.

Just ate dinner there for the third time in two months. Everything we have had has been inventive and delicious!! The seared salmon seaweed tacos, wagyu scallion beef skewers, chicken dumplings, hamachi roll and Shanghai noodles are all amazing. The concept of small and large plates combined with a few sushi rolls and sashimi offers something for all palates, including veggie and meat lovers. They also have THE best dessert in town. The “chocolate bar” is like a homemade chocolate pave sitting on orange sauce, combined with homemade nut brittle, and excellent toffee ice cream. Great combo of flavors and textures. Atmosphere is very metro…..you will think you are in NYC or Chicago, until you see the swaying palm trees outside. Kojo is an outstanding addition to the Sarasota restaurant scene.

Kojo was great! We sat down and were helped fairly quickly. The drinks from the bar were real good and mixed perfectly. They serve family style here, we ordered some of the small plates and they were portioned well. The entree we went with was the Kobe beef skirt steak. The entire meal, every single plate was incredibly tasty. The fried rice could use more actual rice but overall a good addition. I will definitely be back here.

We didn't have a reservation but we were lucky enough to be able to get a table for the 6 of us. We were seated near the bar and by the service station. Our server Louise was very knowledgeable and walked us through the menu we started off with the rock shrimp tempura, and the crispy tofu bites and they were superb! And then for dinner we had the mushroom rice pots, and the tea smoked chicken all amazing!. Towards the end my father had to use the restroom and lo and behold he witnessed our server snorting a powder substance off a check book or something similar. He was appalled when he came back and was very upset. I didn't think this kind of nonsense would happen at a restaurant like this. I don't know if we will ever be back because of this but the food was amazing but after that experience at the end it ruined the rest of the evening for us. I know your business will thrive and only grow bigger and more popular by each year. But if this kind of nonsense happens where customers can see it I don't know if it will be able to uphold the amazing reputation you guys have and strive for. I appreciate your time reading this and hopefully can just move forward.

Outstanding food and service. Several unique items on the menu including black cod and flaming salmon tacos. Among the best Asian restaurants we have experienced. Manager Joe went beyond expectations. We will return!!

This was a new restaurant for me, but I couldn’t be happier to have tried it. The entree (tuna poke bowl) was first rate, beautifully prepared and served. And the service was attentive and friendly. For lunch, the meal might have been a bit pricy, but for the quality of the food it was worth it. My friend and I ordered iced tea and were a bit surprised to see that it was a Republic of Tea bottle, not fresh brewed, but it was a tasty peach tea. I recommend this restaurant and hope it does well in this downtown Sarasota location, next to the Art Ovation hotel.
