Great local place, very chill, food was amazing and plenty of drinks!! 5 stars!

I was kind of on the fence about dining here. Wish we wouldn't have. Server was almost non existent. The interior is kind of small so when there is entertainment it is loud. The guy was good but he was loud. My cubana was not that good. Hubby had the shrimp dinner. The side choices are almost all starches. There was a vegetable but it was overcooked. I had the rice pudding. All I could taste was cinnamon. The consistency was awful. Hubby had the chocolate walnut cake. He said it was okay. Our bill came to $50.52 and I felt we had nothing to show for it. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.
Tasty food and cool atmosphere! It was nice to have the option to cool off inside or eat on the patio. We enjoyed the music selection and it wasn't too loud that we couldn't talk at our table.I don't know how to describe the hospitality. Some bars just don't really carry a friendly, inviting vibe. The service was slow.
Quaint little place and good food but the server wasn't the friendliest...maybe she was just having a bad day....but please support small businesses anyway!
We visit every year when we come to Sarassota. Best Cuban anywhere & Onion rings were great!! Good service also!
Wife and I stopped in for lunch this past Monday, March 3rd. We're frequent visitors and we really like the funky feel of the place and the food is good. The wife likes the Cuban sandwich. There were only a handful of people dining there, maybe 6 or 8 total. The server, a heavy set woman came over and she was very unfriendly and borderline rude. We felt like we were bothering her. Very strange. Anyway, I ordered a burger and my wife ordered the Cuban. The bartender brought us our food and I never saw either one of them again. I wanted a second beer but nobody came asked me how the food was or do we need anything else. I had to chase her down and ask for the bill. I'm done with this place. This is the 2nd time I've been treated so poorly here. Good riddance...
The Cuban sandwich is the best and their french fries are very good also. Doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that keep you away. The live music that evening was blues and was nice.
Wow. Outstanding! Had the OPC Cuban sandwich and wife had the OPC burger. Both were huge and with a beer it was great. Our server, Kimberley could not have been nicer. Told her it was our first time and she was on the hot seat. They did well. It’s local, not a chain and the atmosphere was great. Thanks for a job well done.
Wonderful establishment and aim to please Best hamburger in town! Service was excellent and our waitress was cute as ever least to say excellent! So, I go to get the bill because we wanted to pay as our friends always get the check. Her comment was this the other gentleman wanted to pay as she said he was first to offer(Hard to get one over on Oliver) so I asked her comment I have been yelled at by patrons because of the bill situation well I did about fall thru the floor on that one. hard for me to understand why patrons are so rude and to blame this young lady for the bill situation! Please people do with all respect to all servers!
