I received such terrible service when I went to visit this place by one of the staff member who claimed she is the owner. One of my order was a Trio for my daughter which I always order when I go there. I can only eat a little bit of ice cream so my daughter will have the 2 scoop and I will get the third one. I then asked for an xtra paper cup to put the third scoop. I never had an issue in the past, when I get to the cashier she overcharged me, she charged me the whole price for my one scoop of ice cream that was part of the Trio. She said that it is not possible to do what I just did, that is to transfer the one scoop to a paper container and it can't be done so she must charge me the whole price for it. She then said that if I returned the one scoop into my daughter's ice cream cone and give her the paper cup, then she won't over charge me. She let me returned the one scoop and then she THREW away the paper cup.
Went with my boyfriend and we enjoyed it very much. We could taste the flavor of the ice cream clearly. The staff is super friendly and cheery. The aesthetic is really nice inside. They have real flowers on the tables and a chalk board so you can draw something. They are environmentally conscious, having wooden sample spoons, compostable ice cream spoons and paper cup. The ice cream is a little pricy but it’s worth it
I am a fan of Jeni’s Ice Cream but not their store experience. Employees have developed a poor attitude towards customers. After the novelty of this Sarasota store wears off, people will realize their selections are often too obscure and have a 100% markup over Publix. After all that, they don’t waste time pushing for a “Tip” on their little swivel pay screens.
Thank God we finally have Jeni's in Tampa Bay! The first location I ever went to was the one in Chicago. I remember how amazingly unique the flavors they had and they were delicious!We went to the UTC location and the ice cream was just as good as I remember. The servers were very kind and they're gladly provided us with multiple samples. Everything I tasted was delicious. The price was very reasonable and the portion was not bad. The server overheard that it was my mom's birthday and her ice cream was free. I went to this location another time and they had new flavors which were also good.The place is small but really cute. It got seating areas for small group. Parking is plenty since it's located in UTC but the area gets really busy.Highly recommend to go to Jeni's to eat and ice cream and chill!
Let me start off by saying my husband and I LOVE jeni’s ice cream. However, for the take home pints the price is absolutely insane and completely marked up. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY publix and get the same exact pint for literally half the price. We really expected to pay less at their own store. The employees were all nice and I’m sure their sundaes are delicious given the fantastic smell!
Without doubt the best ice cream you will find anywhere. Such high quality and imaginative flavor combinations. We don’t miss a chance to visit whenever we are near a Jeni’s store
BEST. ICE CREAM. EVER. I love the switch out of fresh new seasonal flavors and now matter what scoop you get it is sure to be a sweet treat!
No samples and you get a half a scoop of ice cream for the same price, if not more, than every other ice cream store in the area. I’ll stick with American Honey, locally owned and locally made…just happ to be in this end of town and gave it a try. My daughter loved the vegan ice cream though
Literally one of my favorite places on earth (yes, earth). I've been to mutliple Jeni's locations and this is by far the most clean, friendly, and nicely designed.
