This place was awful we had to wait 15 minutes to get a seat with o ly three other people in the restaurant who were already seated then the waitress come over just full of "personality" and takes our order when she brings part of our food I had to tell her what was missing and again with her great personality she went back to the kitchen where they were having a who can yell and scream the loudest party and get the rest of our order after my wife had already eaten her food also to add to the fine dining experience there were bugs on the wall and on the napkin wrapped around the silverware needless to say we won't go back to IHOP in Sarasota ever again
Need more employees, food was good, there was a wait and when I asked twice how long the wait was to 3 of the waitresses they looked at me all dumb founded, no one was writing our names down in the order for when the customers came in so we took it upon ourselves to write them ourselves...
Wait was unusually long, as servers were standing around. I asked for a table, as a member of our party I'd wheelchair bound. They first tried both. When I put the wheelchair on the edge. They moved us to a table of 8. We were a party of 3. I suggested that they put 2 2 tops together and we could sit there. Was told no, they couldn't do that. As we were leaving, they had a party of 7 at those 2 tables pushed together. Busyboy just tried to remove my wife's Plate as she was still eating. I doubt we're ever gonna to be back.
No staff... waited 20 minutes in vain. No one attempted to greet or seat us. Gave up and went elsewhere. We weren't the only ones that left. If I could give 0 stars on this I would!
They have really delicious breakfast choices. They like most other restaurants are experiencing a labor shortage, however it didn't affect the service or time taken for the orders to come out. Staff is obviously stressed out due to each apparently doing the work of two people. Could they handle a real heavy rush? That's questionable. However having said that, the staff deserves recognition for their hard work, dedication and good service in the face of the above mentioned adversity! They deserve to be tipped generously.
Kia was our server this morning. EXCELLENT service by her. Very quick and attentive not just with my table but surrounding tables. Thank you.
The egg where not cooked well .. hash browns where burnt.. drinks where hot .. not it don’t recommend.
Ashley was the best waitress I have ever had and I will be calling her manager in the morning when he's there to let him know how good she was to us. I would go back just to see her. The food was great as well
We rarely indulge in a carb fest but vacation is the time to treat ourselves. When we do, we often go to iHop. This is a good one. In the past it was jammed for breakfast so this time we went at lunch time and had no wait. My wife and I think the iHop pancake recipe is delicious, and everything else is very good too. Service was fine, prices moderate, facility was clean. And note to the reviewer who complained about getting a burger with no ketchup on it: I don't want ketchup on a burger. Not everything is about you.
I got the all you can eat pancakes for 5.95 and was very satisfied with them hash browns are always perfect, however was charged $3.65 for a 3oz bowl of grits. Thats the same price as a 5 lb bag of grits at Publix, witch is a notoriously expensive store. It was a little more pricey than I expected for three breakfasts 2 of Wich were AYCE pancakes $2.99 for a side of hash browns. It's a Lil pricey cuz you get very little but they charge the price of diamonds for grits.
