I was visiting a friend and uttered the phrase, "Hot Diggity Dog"......and he said there was a restaurant with that name down the street! ?So when it came time to eat... we drove over ?Only to see it was closed... ?We went the next day AND it was awesome...I had the chili cheese dog WITH onions...Even got a brief history from the owners son (I think ?)...IF you are ever in the area... I would highly recommend Hot Diggity Dog ?
It is the absolute longest I've ever waited for a hot dog in my life. There's no multitasking whether it's one hot dog or four. The beauty of all this waiting for this hot hot dog was it wasn't hot when I bit into it. Everyone's very nice there the clientele is sweet I can see how it would be a favorite for the locals who shoot the breeze while they wait for their hot dog.
Honest and simple services and food. There is no better restraunt in the whole state. Best milkshakes this side of the Mississippi.

I am coming brutal but with doubt because it could return to it's prime however don't nag the guest about how you have done it forever...I want to come in and hear some PRIDE! Honey's hotdogs in Dothan, Al has been my hit the spot hotdog spot when back home...I can get two special dogs, chips and a sweet tea for $8...don't believe me stop on in!

The name is the best part of this place. It made me laugh ? canned chili, cheap dog's , frozen fries . (Chicago style) lol over priced it was just no good but ok ?
It’s not very good. Not really sure how or why it is open...I used to live a couple doors down and remember when it opened. Nick Mastos was a great guy but pretty sure he was seeing my mom on the side...
Over priced blan hot dog nice person running the place but I don't think I will be going back
