Heinrich’s is a great German restaurant with a wonderful staff, great food, fun atmosphere and the owner Heinrich is always friendly!

Perfection! We went last night with a couple of friends and absolutely loved the experience. From the very beginning, Jason warmly greeted us and took such great care of us through the meal. He made excellent suggestions - but the best part was the pride he took in his job - we all commented on how refreshing it was to see and truly appreciated his great service. The food was amazing - truly can’t go wrong - best German food we’ve had outside of Germany. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, Heinrich stopped by to make sure everything was good. He ended up joining us for an after dinner drink sharing many stories and laughs. We loved it. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back - awesome.
If you're looking for great German food. This is the best in Sarasota/Bradenton Florida. Easy to find and plenty of parking. I highly recommend Henricks.
Came to celebrate moms birthday. We were pleasantly surprised that a new manager/waiter is there. Food was excellent and ambiance was good. Highly recommend. Jason is a breath of fresh air.
Just go and enjoy yourself. Heinrich is always fun to talk with and enjoys his customers. The staff is top notch. Never had a bad experience. I can’t wait to go back. I never want to leave. Oh, and the food is fantastic.
Heinrichs Grill is actually phenomenal, first time going was years ago and expectations were not too high. However they easily surpassed any and all expectations i had at the moment and the place has easily become one of my personal favorites to show family and friends visiting Sarasota. The owner is awesome and friendly as can be as well as the whole staff!
My husband and I look forward to eating here every time we are in town. Our latest visit did not disappoint! The only downside is the hard time I have choosing between any of their delicious meals! My favorites are the Sauerbraten, ANY of the potato pancake dishes and ANY of the schnitzel dishes. My mother in law is German born, and I have enjoyed her German meals for years and years. This food is just as good if not better! (?)The atmosphere is fun and the service has always been awesome.I've seen a pretty nasty review or two, and I don't understand. Perhaps it was an off night, I don't know. But I do think that a bit of decent communication and a little patience can go a long ways. It is so hard to get employees these days. ALL restaurants and the few servers they have are feeling the pressure. I mean, this ISN'T a fast food joint, is it? Be patient and kind.Just my opinion ?
Wanted some German food and decided to give Heinrich’s a try and was not disappointed. Everything from the ambiance, to the service (thanks Steve), to the food, and the German beer was fantastic. The jaegerschnitzel had great flavor and came in a huge portion. I also had the spatzle and the Nuremberg sausages which were spot on. I will return and look forward to that trip.
Heinrich's never disappoints! The food and atmosphere is always great! We took friends who had never been there and they just raved about the taste and authenticity of the German food. In fact the wife liked her meal so much she ordered potato pancakes and red cabbage for dessert! While the rest of us enjoyed the scrumptious apple strudel and plum cake for dessert. The staff are very attentive and make it a fun evening! Open Tuesday-Saturday - 5 - 9 pm.
