This restaurant is an embarrassment to Sarasota! I tried to order a turkey sandwich and was told I would have to wait 45 minutes.A five year old can make a turkey sandwich in 10 minutes. A business that can't do any better than that needs to close!The manager and staff of this place need some serious training!It is sad to me that out airport has nothing better to offer than this. This is a tragic example of what Sarasota can offer tourists.
Comical experience. They don’t have prices listed on the board. So I asked the cashier how much the turkey club was. She said she didn’t know. Then she swiped my card and read me the price from the receipt. I wasn’t mad or anything, just in awe at the random experience where prices aren’t listed for some reason and the cashier didn’t know the price of the only 5 items on their menu.
Wildly over priced microwave food. Saddest food I've ever eaten in an airport. Lots of folks talking about how the service was terrible.. we got ours to go, so wasn't so bad. But we were told we couldn't even stand next to one of the many other available tables while we wait for our food.You'll also notice the 5 star reviews are all folks that were drinking ;)
My daughter and I stopped here to eat before our flight. The food was good but the service was terrible. Both of the female employees we encountered were beyond rude! They smiled and use pleasant tones when speaking with each other but not with us. My daughter (an adult) took a few napkins from the dispenser on the bar..the bartender grabbed them out of her hand and put them back. She said “use these” as she gestured to some napkins on the bar. I don’t know what was worse…her grabbing them or her putting them back after someone else had touched them. Thankfully we are going home and will never have to return to this restaurant.
I don’t leave reviews often but this place made me so angry. Went on Christmas Day and ordered food before our flight. We said to go, but it was a long wait for food so my husband and I and our 2 year old sat at a table by the order counter. Because it’s Christmas, there was almost nobody else sitting at these tables. The jerk behind the counter told us that the tables are for dine in only….even though the table itself said for patrons (pictured below), which we were as we had ordered and paid for food. He instead had us stand NEXT TO the table (meaning nobody could sit there anyway) for twenty minutes while we waited for our food. Absolutely trash service from people who have not even an ounce of compassion. We’ve been here before and had similar experiences of being treated badly. Don’t waste your money.
My wife and I sat down to get a drink and used the QR code to order. After sitting there for 20 minutes, I asked the wait staff if they had received my order. I was told that they were working on it. We had only ordered drinks so waiting 20 minutes seemed a bit much. To make matters worse, the wait staff was going around and asking other patrons if they needed drinks. After another 5-10 minutes, I walked up to the bar and inquired about my drinks. They finally found the order but due to the absurd amount of time that it took them to even acknowledge the order, I had them cancel it. I will never patronize this establishment again!
Skip the Old Fashioned. It’s not hard to make a good Old Fashioned, but this was a 1/10. Not served on ice and topped with club soda.
Danny and Emily were amazing. They treated us like family (in the best way) and made our pre flight visit with them fun and memorable! A great way to end our vacation!
We had a delayed flight and Danny, George and, Will got us through it. It is a shame I can’t take this bar on the flight with me. The best experience I’ve ever had in a bar. Everyone needs to come here!!!
Rudest restaurant I’ve ever been to. Demanded to know why I was sitting at their table. I told them because I was eating their. They proceeded to demand I show a receipt to prove I could sit there. Worst experience and terrible customer support.Stay far far away!
