Great authentic Greek food.Service is excellent.Best Taramosalata I ever ate.We had sghanaki, lamb shank, horiatiki salad, pastissio, octopus.. everything was delicious.I highly recommend this place.
The lamb gyroo was excellent and the lamb shishka bob was delicious the lemon soup is phenomenal the service was great. Try the very sweet monk made mole Greek wine
Great delicious food as always. Starting with roasted eggplant and pitabread, continued with Stifado and Ionian Salmon for me.Stifado is tenderly cooked pork with pearl onion and tomato and herbs, was very mouth-watering. My Salmon glazed lemon sauce over the grilled fish and roast potato unbeatable flavors. My friend chosen lentil soup to start with, myself the best Greek salad. Great service, nice ambiance, reasonable price.Hands down the best authentic Greek food in town.
We are a Greek family visiting Sarasota from Pittsburgh, PA. We found this little gem of a restaurant on Google and we are so glad we did! This is very authentic Greek food, cooked and served by Greeks. The lamb dishes, saganaki, stuffed tomatoes, and grilled mahi mahi special were spectacular. I would not hesitate to visit this restaurant again when I return.
The lamb there is so perfectly cooked! Saganaki was good but oily. We loved how they light it right in front of you though. The best thing on the menu is the rice pudding!
The food was amazing! Love being able to support a local small businesses & especially one so delicious! We will def be back! ?
My husband is Greek so we always look for the Greek restaurants. We were visiting from Ohio and found this little place. We loved it. My husband said it’s the best meal he’s had in Sarasota. They have all of the traditional home-style Greek dishes he loves. He had the Plaki (fish) and I had the Dolmades (like grape leaves, only made with cabbage leaves.) They even had non-alcoholic beer for me, which is a rare find at a small restaurant like this. Opah!
Was really trying to find an alternative Greek place and it was a ride to pick up take out but the reviews were good. Lamb gyro was not great and priced at $11.50 with fries. Best part of the meal was the side of carrots. Chicken gyro was dry, not a lot of meat and not seasoned well. Respect the local small business hustle and maybe we should dine in and try again? We will see. Nothing we ordered took us to flavortown like you would expect from a small Greek restaurant.
Quaint little restaurant with very delicious Greek food. Service was prompt and courteous. (I believe the waiter was the owner) Only two other tables were occupied at the time we arrived. (Sunday evening). I chose the Octopus and Pasta and my wife ordered the Greek Giouvetsi. The octopus was cooked to perfection. (Not rubbery). This dish was FLAVORFUL. The roasted chunks lamb my wife ordered said it was very tender/tasty. All the Greek restaurants I have dined, this is one that I will return for dinner. For a small business, this place packs a punch when to comes to Greek dining. Give it a try, I believe you will not be disappointed.
Delicious Broiled Octopus, Lentil Soup, Greek Salad, Lamb Shank, and Shishkabob!
