This location was fabulous. Went for a late dinner and the mood inside was calming and quiet. Lighting and table spacing made it a place where you could easily talk and watch sports!! The service was fast and friendly. As always the food was delicious. Really loved this neighborhood spot for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend the Scooped out potato appetizer.
Been a loyal geckos customers for many years. Only time I've ever had to send my food back. No flavor meat tasted old . Au Jus for French dip tasted like pure salt signature homemade chips served cold ask for a new order that was hot. brought another order that were cold. Geckos on Clark Road by I-75. Great service. Ironically after after offering to not charge me for my meal which I did not eat any of. They still charge me for my iced tea
Even though they had to raise their menu prices as everyone does, their ribs are just the best. But the portion might even be a bit larger. Always hot and steamy and super fries. All their sides are great too. keep up the good job on your food and your service staff is great too. GREAT RESTAURANT!!!
We had always visited this Gecko's when we lived in Palmer ranch. We had moved out of state for a few years and have returned. We were very surprised to see the bartender Danniell still working at the store. She thought she had remembered us and we had our lunch their. Food and drinks were still as good as before and we enjoyed our visit. We have been back 2 more times and thanks to Danniell and her excellent service and attitude we will continue to return.
I’d recommend the potato curls and shrimp tacos! Delicious! Our server was wonderful too ❤️
Told to pick up orders in 30 min, came to restaurant, order not ready. Waited 30 more minutes, told everything was in the bag. So I checked to be sure, because it was a large order. Missing some items, and asked for them. Other person waited just as long and when he finally got his order, manager gave him gift cards to return and use them. When the remainder of my order came out, I asked if I could receive a gift card for my wait, and he stated” my order has been met, so no you don’t get any” . Very unprofessional and frankly rude. I will not be ordering from there again, and after I left 20% tip on a large pickup order:/hill view location
Food was good. I got the grouper sandwich, blackened. Cassie (Cassandra) was our waitress and she was awesome. Very helpful in helping me figure out what to eat.
Great ribs. Smoky sweet goodness. Sides or soso but ribs more then made up for it. We had chips and salsa with guacamole. the guacamole was more like smashed avacados with hint of lime. Would love to taste some garlic with some red onion. The salsa was very spicy. The onion rings were good and hot had a mild spicy sauce to dip them but bland on there own. Service was very good. Ice cold drinks to please about everyone. Great little sports bar to stop at after long day at the beach.

We were here last night for a game watch with our alumni group. Cole was our waiter and did a great job serving drinks and food. My wife and I had the Super Salad & Cobb Salad. Both were great and so large, we took 1/2 of the home.
