Today was the worst online experience as I order here weekly for lunch at this location. Online order was suppose to be ready at 11:22 am, it wasn't but I don't mind waiting as I understand. I waited until 11:49 to pick up an overcooked waffle like for my child it was like a waffle cone . My pineapple express has something in the cup and it not the mint sugar. The shrimp for the shrimp and grits are overcooked and none of the food was hot it was lukewarm like it was sitting there waiting to be bagged. We didn't eat any of the food its still in the bag.

I recommend it. Was seated quickly, staff was very polite. Food came fast. Got the chickichanga. Enjoyed every bite. Potatoes were the slightest bit over done. I'm going to be in Sarasota for a few months and plan on coming back to try more of the menu. For what this place is, the amount of food, the flavor, and price, seems hard to beat.

I just need to vent a little because I hate feeling taken advantage of. First let me say I have always loved First Watch. I’ve never had an issue. Today was a bit different because I feel like they are taking advantage of the “food shortage” or cost of food items right now? I pretty much order a la carte because it’s so specific: 3 basted eggs, 2 pieces of toast and a cup of fruit. I like 2 slices of toast because I get the 3 eggs. I don’t mind up charges because I know that if I want certain extras I will need to pay more. Fine. First, a cup of coffee shouldn’t cost $3.50. I just don’t understand this. Even if it’s endless refills. But when an extra slice of toast costs $4 I have to draw the line in the sand! I had to ask at the register. “Is this right?!” Yup! Bread is expensive right now. That was the reason. Okay, maybe put something on the menu about this (my friend made the same mistake with asking for an extra slice). Or maybe the waitress should warn people that for an extra slice of toast you will be paying $4!! An entire loaf of designer bread doesn’t cost $4… does it?! ?. I am disappointed in you @firstwatch. At least my friend got them to take the charge off of his check. I on the other hand will not be going back.

Terrible slow service & rude waitress. Brought wrong order. Waitress blamed kitchen, offered no apology.

The half salad & half sandwich is the best brunch or lunch. I always get the Sweet Honey Pecan salad w/there Roastbeef Havarti sandwich. Which is absolutely amazing. Plus there Juice Bar, Kale Tonic, is amazingly incredible. Best way 2 wake up & wake up your taste buds. This place is packed everyday. No matter what day it the week it is. But it's well worth the wait.. Keep up the amazing work guys. We all appreciate it.

Lots of variety on the menu and well furnished and decorated. Staff attentive and competent. Enjoyed the food and the ambience in the outside eating area.

When in for a late breakfast. Fast seating. Good service. The food was excellent. Only problem was the side of bacon was overcooked.

My breakfast was ok. I asked for my eggs scrambled well, with turkey sausage on the side. The eggs were loose and the turkey way over done and tough to cut. If you order coffee, they automatically bring you a pot of coffee and charge $3.49. I asked if I could add onion and tomato to my eggs.I wasn't aware there was a charge and that info was not told to me upon ordering. The amount of each was about the size of a quarter, and $1.49 for each. So my scrambled eggs and waffle that started at $11.49 now became $20.00 plus tip. Nex r time I'm going back to my "hole-in-the-wall" dinner with the bottomless cup of coffee, $8.00 heaping breakfast, and wonderful dinner atmosphere.

Unfortunately The quality of the breakfast has changed in my opinion, I had the traditional breakfast with turkey sausage links over easy eggs there's no yoke in the eggs and the turkey sausage was so hard I almost had to cut it with a knife .

First time here in the 7 yrs I've lived on this side of town. My first experience was mhh. I ordered the Florentine Eggs Benedict seem like everything was cold. Including the egg. Turns out you gotta specify classic to get the ham included, Never had one without. Seriously did I just get cold Hollandaise Sauce. The menu looks promising so I'll update after a few more tries the only reseaon it got 3 stars is the availability of the Bloody Mary for Breakfast. So Far First Watch cannot compete with Eggstraordinary Cafe's flavor and speed.
