Our first time here in Sarasota and first time at First Watch! We love both! We are staying at a nearby hotel and we're very disappointed in the breakfast food there and very impressed with First Watch!! Amazing breakfast, so fresh tasting, prepared just like we asked, bacon crispy, eggs perfect with delicious fried potatoes! The smell in our hotel room was so comforting from the potatoes and bacon...yummy! We were so relieved that we found the perfect breakfast place close to the hotel. We went back twice more. Next time we are in Sarasota, we will be back!
We arrived and the wait was 15 minutes, they asked us for a phone number to let us know when the table was ready, we went in and ordered several things, the avocado toast was amazing, the avocado was fresh and the taste of the bread was incredible, I also ordered the French toast and it was magnificent, the food portions are very good and their prices are very accessible, the waiter Anthony treated us very well, very friendly and charismatic so this place is a 10/10. Service, food, atmosphere. If you visit Sarasota go to this place for breakfast or brunch
Some nice, unique & healthy menu options. Our party had eggs florentine, pancakes, avocado toast, all excellent. Good service, friendly staff. Would go back again.
I went to the downtown location which is walking distance from my hotel.It was rated high in Yelp and I wanted to try. This is a franchise restaurant you can find from other states as well.At this specific location, you can find friendly service and delicious food (I know from how they cook eggs).This restaurant is spacious (not too small but not too big) and you can relax while you enjoy your meal (not noisy).Here are tips:Parking: either street parking or public parking (fee)Service: Above average (in Sarasota, you normally receive this kind of service)Ambiance: Clean and typical breakfast restaurant lookFood: Delicious
Good good, not ridiculously amazing but we enjoyed it. Didn’t love kiwi on French toast. Pressed juice was good. Prices were a little much. Waitlist system is confusing.

First watch is on our preferred list. It has all the classic breakfast items plus a number of specials. It is always freshly made and delicious. The service is fantastic. The staff operates like a well orchestrated ballet. They are efficient and smiling. Usually we never go to chain restaurants but this is the exception. It can get busy but here again they manage to keep the wait to a minimum. Now the ONLY negative is that First watch does not have a proper Espresso machine and the coffee is not great if you are a barista type of aficionado. There are a few good coffee shops around where we order from and bring our coffee to our table and they don't mind.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. At other First Watch restaurants we are always created very friendly. This one just wanted your name for the wait list. The server was also not very friendly either. Food was the standard good food you get at all First Watch restaurants.
