Mother's Day Nightmare started with an hour wait to order , flat soda, freezer burnt overcooked cheese sticks and tasteless food.No care from the waitress but A complaint to mgmt that was respected. A trip to our pediatrician because my kids haven't stop crying from stomach cramps(it's Wed. Now), A call to the owner who took no responsibility of it and didn't know how to make it better . Ended with a request for them to at least check inventory and clean so no other family will suffer like we have.
We have just moved to Sarasota. We have driven passed this place a few times and finally went in. The service was ok. We understood the sign saying they were short staffed. Although we had to get up to get our own silverware , our food was not good. We had the moussaka. Being from another country we definitely know this dish. I love eggplant and know the eggplant we ate was old! The plate came super hot but the food was very cold inside. The waitress did say it was microwaved. The pizza is good there. Although i did hear a server telling a customer who was comparing about his Gluten Free pizza that the gluten free pizza is ordered out. So it comes frozen. I don’t like giving bad reviews but I do think restaurants should be held to a certain level when serving to the public. We won’t ever eat there again :(
They were very short staffed but they made up for it in pleasant attitude, and doing whatever it took to make up for that. The pizza was the best I have had since moving to Florida. Karaoke was terrific. KJ very knowledgeable and accommodating. Will be back for certain.
I accidentally ordered from the wrong location on Uber eats and showed up at university when my order was in South sarasota. I was going through some family stuff and just not totally with it Rebecca and Caden were totally awesome. They really went above and beyond to help me. They re-did my order and were very kind. Thank you!!!!!!
There were 10 of us, so we called ahead to see if they could accommodate. We were told, yes, come on!! This was my first and last time there!! After being seated, it took 30 minutes for the guy to get our drink order. Were they busy, you ask, NO!! Finally, 8 of us got our drinks and the other 2, had to ask again for their drinks!! Another 20 minutes passed, and finally, our waiter came to take food orders. It took a good 30 minutes to get foods but the real kicker, WE HAD, NO SILVERWARE!! YES, we got up and found our own!!Like I said, my 1st & last time at this place, ever!!There was 1 female waitress that came by our tables, while we were complaining to each other that said, we always ask for a 24 hour notice for a large group, and that her manager would hear about this. I sure pray to God their manager reads this because, 1st, we called to ask about seating, 2nd, our waiter was more interested in what was going on elsewhere, like hiding, so he could be on his phone, instead of being a good worker, while at work!! 3rd, there were 10 of us, which means we have families, friends, and guests that we will not be recommending this place to!
Food was delicious. Drinks were good. Prices reasonable. Food came out hot & in a timely manner. I forgot my waiters name but I remember he's a new resident to FL from Ohio. His customer service is 5 stars.
Great food and wait staff. Dont order drinks from bar (poor quality and shifty billing practices). Recommend the food with water. Go for drinks elsewhere after dinner.
Demetrios Pizza & Grill brings authentic Italian food to Florida. They have some of the best pizza around and their baked ziti always hits the spot. They have been in our neighborhood for over five years and support the community. Whenever I am craving pizza they are one of the first restaurants I look to.
We went to Demetrius on recommendation from a friend. It was everything he said it would be, food was delicious and service was great! Staff was friendly and professional, we will definitely be back!
Had take out about 2 weeks ago. Burnt chicken PARM. Uncooked Garlic Bread. Burnt lasagna. Owner doesn’t seem to care either. Sent several messages. No response. Won’t be going back.
