Super tiny place that you’d miss if you weren’t looking for it… but WOW!!!! The BEST Italian food in all of Sarasota! The gnocchi was the best that both my fiancé and I have ever had!!! (I’m from New Jersey and he has lived in Italy!). The pasta I was perfectly al dente, the seafood was perfectly cooked, the ambiance was beautiful and the service was both elevated and outstanding! If I could give this restaurant 6 stars… I would! Definitely try to make a reservation due to its small size/ limited tables. (We were walk-in’s and sat immediately but they did say it’s normally a wait without one… but that’s everywhere now it seems.

10/10 service.10/10 food.10/10 atmosphere. It's my wife and I's new favorite restaurant. Simply stunning.

This is an amazing restaurant run by a lovely Italian family. The food is fresh and innovative and always delicious. The service is impeccable with stories of a beautiful Italian family. Highly recommend reservations.

Best Italian food I've ever had outside of Italy. I had the Linguine Di Mare and every part of the dish was a piece of art. Great service, great food, thank you D'Corato!!

Wonderful atmosphere! Fantastic family owned and run! Amazing food! The best gnocchi I’ve ever had!

The food is amazing! Great date night location! We will be back with friends and family.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant. It is run by a family. The father runs the front of the house and the mother runs the kitchen. Their son and daughter-in-law help in the kitchen and is also wait staff. They have gnocchi that is so pillow and soft. All the food is delicious.

My favorite Italian in Sarasota. warm friendly always treated like family. So hard to find authentic Italian, but D'Corato always makes me feel like I'm back in my grandmother's kitchen. Never disappoints always great food and atmosphere.

Excellent Italian food. Great Italian bread - not easy to find in S. Florida. Real good portions. Great Service. Reasonable prices.

This is a great little family owned Italian spot. The staff were attentive and the place was quite nice. It is a little on the pricier side, but we were pleased with the quality and prep of the food. Two recommendations. Make a reservation, as the dining room is tiny and probably only has 10 tables if I had to guess. And while their patio area has a great ambiance, it's just too close to 41 and all the traffic whizzing by to really relax and appreciate it. So I would probably say pass on the patio seating if they have a table inside. We're looking forward to going back for another visit to try some different dishes ?
