From the start it was all amazing! Kelly was our server who is fun and lively. She knows the menu like the back of her hand. The calamari was perfect but the goat cheese tomato jam was superb . The scallops was seared to perfection absolutely the best scallops I have had in a long time. The grouper was phenomenal. The blackened fish tacos were great! The macadamia brownie was decadent! Loved the environment. All of the employees were super nice and outgoing. I can not recommend this place enough.
Everything was delicious. Crab cake, grouper, duck, desserts and service. Wonderful birthday meal.
One of our Siesta Key favorites. Good, consistent food, a wide variety on the menu. Had P.J. serve us again and he is really great. Been there a long as have we. The only problem, the hostess who is also the G.M. I think she's relatively new. She has absolutely no people skills at all and should not be their front line - she will run people off she is so rude. Also lies. We requested a booth in our reservation and he she took us to table 5 (fair) right by the door to the outside. We asked for Table 3 which was empty and all set. She said someone reserved it for a bridal party - NOT TRUE! It was just occupied as we were leaving after our dinner so we stopped to wish them the best of luck on their upcoming marriage - they were no bridal party but a family from Europe visiting Siesta Key. Rude is one thing but lying is something I just don't tolerate lying. We'll be back because one incident like this won't turn us off a good restaurant but Clayton, who was not there that night, needs to know he's got a hostess and G.M. who will be bad for his business unless it's loyal folks like us. If this was my first time at Claytons, I would never go back.

Our server, Kelly, was amazing! So personalable and knowledgeable. Food was the best we've had since we've been here - snapper, mussels, soup of the day, mahi mahi tacos. Definitely will be going back and have already recommended it to friends.

We were not super impressed with Claytonâs. We were expecting a larger fish selection. Everything seemed to ready made and not really customizable. The ambiance and wait staff was great though.
We had a great time. Our server Bob was outstanding. He made sure each guest in our party of 6 was taken care of during the entire dining experience.
