This place is amazing. The atmosphere is great with all the greenery. During brunch there was a wide selection of options. The two we got were delicious. The location is easy to get to right on Main Street. I would highly recommend. Prices are average for a place downtown and portions sizes are average. If you want a big meal I would not come (or buy some of the more expensive items) but just a regular brunch meal its perfect.
We were in Sarasota for two nights and were walking around the Bay Area. Decided to stop for lunch. Ordered the fondue and an Italian sandwich to to share. The fondue was beyond belief, and then the sandwich with the best French fries I ever tasted. Service was friendly and attentive. So……we were out walking and said let’s try going back and have their pizza. No disappointment, the fig and prosciutto pizza was unique and enjoyable. As a side try one of their martinis. Highly recommend this restaurant - and my thanks to chef.
Accommodating to last minute party of 8! We came from out of town to celebrate a 21st birthday . The male hostess on the phone checked with a manger to see if they could fit us in and sure enough they were able to get us booked in for an hour later . Our server was Eric and despite the chaos in the kitchen he got us our orders fairly quickly and his service throughout the entire night was done eagerly , kindly and always welcoming with a grand smile on his face. As for the food , two of our pasta dishes came not fully cooked , lacking sauce and bland . The pizzas, zucchini pasta and bucatini with meatballs were terrific. Eric’s knowledge on drink and food recommendations was on point . Their live music was the cherry on top as well, for not being a local it was all a pleasant surprise and smooth experience . Thankful for Eric’s amazing service and the hostess that was able to get us in tonight.
We met friends at Clasico for lunch. We were seated outside by the beautiful Bougainvillea and left with 4 very satisfied diners. The menu choices are varied and creative and the quality of the food was exceptional. Two of us had the French Dip, one the Hot Italian sandwich and one the sweet potato bowl. All were great. Our server, Nick, was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Overall, a wonderful experience .
Probably the best filet mignon I’ve ever had ? their non alcoholic drinks are also very refreshing! The server was friendly, we had a great experience.
Lousy. I did not eat here. I went with a friend who hesitated to order. The waiter asked if she needed some time. She did not answer quickly enough. He then said, "OK I will be back in a couple hours." I called him on this, and he said "oh, a couple minutes.". Then muttered as he walked away..."Ive got too many tables." We left.
Walked in for lunch here and they were very busy so I sat at the bar. Ordered a kale Caesar salad and it was delicious. Place had good vibes filled with locals and business people. One of the managing partners walked up to me and thanked me for coming in and called me a friend. He truly understands customer service as do I. Thank you for a good experience while dining alone. I will definitely return more often.
Booked a table for four with out of town guests. My husband ordered ravioli. He was served a tortellini that was dried with a tasteless sauce. They must have run out of the correct entree. The waitress apologized but I am sure it was not her fault since tortellini was not on the menu.
We had a very excellent time at the fantastic meal. The owner, Raf, came out and gave us a sample of his new menu. Item- grilled artichokes they were delicious. I highly recommend classical Italian.
Always a consistent experience. Great food & attentive service & you feel like you’re in Europe! ?
