Chipotle used to be so efficient! Huge lines would get worked through in like 10 minutes. Not here. I don’t order online through them anymore, because I think I actually never once got a correct order. One time they gave me just a bowl of rice because they were out of everything else. And also wouldn’t refund me? Plus I was out the delivery cost, since I had to drive there anyway. All they’d give me is a free drink after I ASKED for one.But today, which I get is a holiday (7/4/22), was abysmal. It wasn’t even busy. Maybe 3 people in line. The first girl is so slow, and then the second one looks completely lost. I have to point to her to show her where the salsas and sour cream are. She had to have someone else wrap the burrito for her because she couldn’t do it. If she’s new, have her shadow someone. She clearly wasn’t ready.And then I get to the register and my god. There might as well have been no one there. She’s bored and disinterested. I have 2 coupons, and want to know if I can use both. She says she doesn’t know. She doesn’t know how the register works. Great. I scan the coupon, and she just says “you don’t have any rewards.”Yes I do. I have them up on the app. Right here. And she doesn’t try to resolve anything. Just sort of stares at me until she realizes I’m not just giving up and wanders around for 5 minutes I guess looking for a manager who also (rightfully) seemed annoyed with her for not having two brain cells to rub together. The manager seemed like the only one who knew what they were doing. He actually checked me out professionally and fast, like I used to expect from Chipotle. Used both my coupons just fine.God, what a disaster.
Easily the worst Chipotle experience I've ever had, and I love the company. 9 pm on a Thursday night, line wrapped around the restaurant. My Barbacoa was invisible in the tray in a soup of grease on top. The technician needed over ten scoops to find enough meat. Also out of the following: cilantro, salad, queso, chips, ice, juice and straws. Probably soda but didn't check. I had planned to eat in, but they were out of forks (only knives) so I gave it back and requested a refund. Register employee didn't even blink, like he totally understood, "yeah I wouldn't eat that either. Especially with a knife." I get it, understaffed, under-qualified and overworked. The first technician appeared to be high, and just walked off before I even got to the front of the line. The others may have been, too. Who knows with this generation. This is clearly a management problem. Surreal.
ATTENTION BUSINESS OWNER. I understand it's hard to hire employees but wow this is unbelievable. The staff here work at a snails pace. They are losing tons of business. I've watched 8 people leave the line and walk out. If you own this business you need to fix this.
Never place a pickup order here without triple checking it before you leave. I scheduled two orders for pickup several hours ahead of when they were to be picked up… neither of which were ready upon my arrival. 19 minutes later the orders came out incorrect anyway. Did not offer anything for my wasted time or incorrect food.Normal behavior for this location. Thank you for the incorrect, cold food.
Food was great, but the drink station was out of all but 2 or 3 of the coca-cola options. Floor was wet all around the soda fountain as well. As with all the Chipotle locations I've been to, their was a line of people around the inside of the restaurant, of people waiting to order, however, none of the people working seem to have any motivation to be there. I even overheard one of the employees mentioning to another that he needed to move faster because he was causing the assembly line to bottleneck. It's a shame this location is so slow to churn out food, seeing it's conveniently located across the street from the best/biggest hospitals around. Food was tasty, but the service will make me think twice before coming back.
Consistently the slowest Chipotle I've ever been to. All three times I've gone to this location I stand in a fairly short line for 20 minutes plus. Management doesn't seem to care and all the employees seem to move and function as if it's their first time. In huge need of a Management change. When you don't care it shows.
This location on Tamiami trail is one of the worst chipotles you could go to. Their staff is incompetent and don’t do their job correctly at all. I’ve gotten food here multiple times on my way home from downtown and I’m completely done with their service. They hardly ever have all their meats prepared and are very skimpy with the portions they give because they are never prepared. Don’t ever order online from this location they will mess up your order, missing items etc… If you are going to this location make sure you go inside and watch them make it so it comes out how you would like it.
Let me start off with I love Chipotle and and the food. The service has dropped off considerably. I understand the times we live in but there are clear needs a true store manager or leader could accomplish. This location was showing signs of lack of cleaning regularly. The food service system is clearly not working and the lack of employee insensitive and supervisory over site was also evident. I have solutions and I’m willing to give this information to anyone in Operations and a few suggestions to improve.
As a general rule I love Chipotle. 3/19/2022 7pm experience, despicable. One of the employees consistently dripping dirty towel into line prepared food. Pulling up her pants with gloves hands and going right back to handling food. I watched in dismay as she took out a steam pan and literally set it on a burrito being prepped. It got wrapped up and some unsuspecting person who did an online order will be eating dirty steam water in their meal tonight. After waiting in line 25 minutes and being next in line, seeing this, I chose to leave without food. I understand short staff and wait times. But this is a food safety issue and needs inspection. I will avoid this location until changes have been made.
3rd time trying to get food here on my way home from the gym and the 2nd time I've come here between 9pm and 9:30pm in the past month that the doors were locked and I was denied service even though the door clearly says they're open til 10pm and there were still customers inside eating. The 1 time I was able to get a meal here the food was pretty good but the restuarant was dirty and drink station was a total mess. Also the food was slung all over the different bins on the hot table. Super disappointing as the food at Chipotle is generally pretty good and I used to look forward to it. I will not waste my time with this location again unless I know for a fact it has gone through some major changes. 2 thumbs and 10 toes down for this place ??
